The Government of Canada fully funded the construction of this bridge, which includes the toll plazas on both sides of the border and the real estate under them. So holding this asset hostage is basically extortion. Trump also needs to get his facts straight. He says that the US should half own the asset, but doesn't seem to realize that it already does. Canada's costs will be compensated by the tolls that are collected until the value of the US share is repaid.
