I doubt I could bench 245 right now but I can do 3 sets of 8 pullups and I don't even train pullups (don't have a pullup bar at home)

I can do pull-ups with band assist now, can usually rep out 8-10 if I’m fresh but if I’m deep in the workout I have to stop to rest after two in a row usually. Without the band I can get like, one lol

What I'm gathering from this thread right now is that I should feel good about being able to do a descending 3-set of 15-12-10 pull-ups. My bench is fucking garbage though on the opposite side, but I'm working on it

I trained myself to do pull ups years ago cause I thought it was absurd I could bench a ton but never do a pull up. Started with assisted and worked my way up.

Any time I feel myself stalling or declining, I go "well if I can still do 6-8 pull ups I'm not totally out of it."

I've done 315 on the seated press but 285 is the most I've ever put up on flat bench.

To be fair, any place where the President spends over 60 percent of his time is almost certainly under constant, heavy security. If those locations were not locked down 24/7, it would be relatively easy for someone to stash a weapon or an IED and retrieve it later. Given how frequently he is there, even a randomly timed device would have a high chance of detonating while he was present.
