Actually, lefties, it's a sin to NOT bask in His golden glory.
Nice to see people finally showing who they really are instead of hiding behind religion while ignoring the very teachings they claim to follow. The Bible repeatedly warns against idol worship and putting false gods before everything else, yet some people have reached the point where they defend one man no matter what he says or does, treating him as if he can do no wrong.
It’s hard not to see the irony in people who claim to stand for faith, morality, and the teachings of Jesus while acting with cruelty, hatred, and blind loyalty. Scripture warns about false idols, false prophets, and people who use religion as a weapon rather than a guide for compassion and humility. Yet that warning seems completely lost on those who wrap politics and worship together until they become indistinguishable.
I’ve said it before, but some of the worst people I’ve ever met were the ones who spoke the loudest about religion while behaving in ways that contradicted everything they preached. Faith is supposed to humble people and make them better toward others, not give them justification to hate, judge, or follow someone with unquestioning devotion.
I'm not going to make a power rankings list of Republicans and how much I hate them, but the ones who will whine and complain about this shit and then vote for it anyway make me angrier. And that's the majority of them.
They give a party and an administration full of narcissists and autocrats unconditional support just because they're absolutely convinced, down to the core of their very being, that Democrats will always be worse. Then complain when the people they gave that mandate to don't do what they want.
The GOP is literally telling their base "what are you gonna do about it, bitch?" and they just let it happen.
Waiting for him to be rebranded as Je$u$ in the King Trump version
Party loyalty above all is basically antithetical to being a progressive so it ain't gonna happen
I mean the "conservative" party hasn't been the conservative party for a very long time now.

The National Mall's restoration project was awarded to a contractor under a loophole typically reserved for prevention of “serious injury, financial or other, to the government”.
This is AIC's first government contract.President Donald Trump used a government exemption to give a $6.9 million no-bid contract to his “pool guy” to repaint the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool to a blue color after complaining it “never looked great.”
Trump used the exemption to get the company, Atlantic Industrial Coatings, to quickly begin work on the memorial as part of an array of building projects and refurbishments taking place across Washington D.C., ahead of America’s 250th birthday this year.
“This project is now being completed at ‘Trump Speed’ to ensure the iconic landmark is totally restored ahead of the 250th celebrations,” White House Spokesperson Taylor Rogers said in a statement to The Independent.
Rogers said Trump selected “American Flag Blue” for the paint color, “which is not only incredibly patriotic but will also improve the reflection qualities of the pool.”
While Trump said the contract was going to a company that he had used for pools at his properties, Atlantic Industrial Coatings’ website does not mention that work but does cite examples, including reinforcing roofing for a power company and rehabilitating a culvert for a public road.
It was discovered in photographs of the project that they've subcontracted to another company, Mid-America Industrial Coatings, but there is no official documentation of this happening.
