They agreed to pay Netflix's buyout fee so this was a no brainer for NF to back down. Plus in 5-7 years when both of these companies are going under, Netflix can buy the whole conglomerate at pennies on the dollar.

In the mean time though, now CBS and CNN are owned by the same guy.

The political policies of these people aren't the problem. I don't fundamentally disagree with Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries etc on much. It's the fact that their policies are not their priority. It's always something else, and that means if push comes to shove they'll put whatever they are first.

Israel, DHS stuff, military spending, their own seats being hot, term limits, insider trading... etc.

It's the fact that the establishment Dems prove constantly that they'll fold under pressure. I would take an actual moderate Dem that actually stands on business over a "progressive" that balks and acquiesces to fascists because they're feeling uncomfortable or their donor money slowed down.

I can't remember where I read it but recently some military officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity said that they had used the top AI programs for wargames simulations. They let them run without any human input and they ended up using nuclear weapons 95% of the time.
