Last year before all this shit started I could get it for about $1.70 with my gas points at the grocery stores pumps. A little over $2 without. Now it's $3.85 before discount.

In Port St Lucie, kind of a midway point between south and central florida, all gas stations in the middle of town are $4/gallon, with the expensive brands hovering near $4.20. There's such a psychological barrier at every whole dollar, but once that settles it can rise all the way up to the next dollar and imo it feels "kind of the same". Fully expect us hitting $5 in the next 30days unless something drastic happens energy wise.

These companies had no problem blaming Democrats in order to raise prices they couldn't justify raising otherwise, and I fully believe they'll have no problem raising prices under Republicans when they're purposely and very visibly wrecking the price of oil.

That has nothing to do with the topic though. The topic is whether or not it's even possible for a red line to exist for his supporters, and there isn't. If you're implying he lost 2020 because a bunch of his supporters abandoned him you're totally wrong. There are many reasons he lost in 2020 and none of them are his supporters flipping D or not voting. There were a bunch that didn't vote, but that was either because they were dead or dying from COVID or unable to vote in person because of COVID. And R's don't vote by mail.

He's not invulnerable, and he's going to get smoked in the midterms if the elections are held and held legitimately. But that will be on the backs of sane people throughout the country rejecting this insanity and voting against it. None of his supporters are going to be helping with any of that, no matter what he does or how low he goes or anything.
