No officers injured by the shooter, shooter taken down without harming anyone, stopped well before he got close to any of his targets. Objective complete victory for security.

Everyone should stop wishing for Trump to be assassinated. I don't think people fully realized the consequences.
I for one wish someone would leak the unredacted Epstein files and him being lead out of the White House in handcuffs.
People are hoping for it because that second scenario is basically impossible at this point
I wholeheartedly believe that if there was something truly legally actionable about Trump in the Epstein files we would have seen it come out while the Biden administration was in charge.
Or even now to be honest.
See I'm exactly the opposite, I feel like if there wasn't some absolutely actionable and incriminating shit in there, we'd have the full unredacted files. I mean its pretty clear public opinion wise among his core voters he's pretty fucking untouchable, and the media is toothless as fuck, so I sincerely doubt they're holding out on releasing here-say files with no hard evidence because "Optics" might look bad.
That and right now I doubt opinions of him from people who can actually be swayed could go any lower.
I was shocked by the slow-rolling disaster that was the initial Epstein files release, which itself made it clear that the DoJ hadn't carefully read the documents it had access to, didn't have the right file types, etc. I don't know whether they know if they have something incriminating against Trump, but I see that the administration-supported position is to stop digging.
I don't think that the DoJ suddenly got less competent because Trump's goons took over, so I bet the situation was about the same under Biden.
Rich people rarely face any consequences. Unless they screw over people with more money than them.
Like rich men haven't been having sex with kids for ten thousand years. Epstein files are just status quo.
I'd also like to remind of Walz's sudden decision to not seek reelection while Minnesota was in the Trump sniper scope. The likelihood that he and his family were being legitimately threatened feels pretty high. Correlate that vindictive nature of the administration to the likelihood multiple people were working on smaller chunks of the Epstein files as a whole and anyone responsible for compiling/sharing would be even more likely to wind up in a body bag. Like, we can't forget that Trump is basically a modern mobster. When you have the whole of the government behind you, if you want something to disappear, it probably will. I can't really blame what amounts to office clerks being scared. Maybe if there is enough of a Dem overturn in November we could finally see some action, but that still behooves the republicans who were vehemently for the release of the files to also want to participate in the takedown. It's also a safe bet Israel is utilizing the information to get Trump to do what Bibi wants, too. And Putin/Russia. Basically, we're severely and utterly compromised.
It can be both incompetence and planned incompetence.

Well there you have it fellas. Almost all of us want this. Fire up the excavators.
Thought it was being paid for by bribes, not taxpayer money
It was but then he decided he wants to keep the bribes and still get the ballroom anyway.

It was. They're using the shooting as an excuse to get it paid for with taxpayer money, citing national security concerns.
That's also why the courts stalled it for so long. Stating there had to be some kind of security reason for it.
Here's the motion to have it funded. They want to redirect funds from the National Parks service.

It's a very professional, well written motion, if I do say so myself.
They actually cite IN THE MOTION that it's free, then say later on that it's not. lol
I can’t people they actually let Dementia Don write the motion himself. Or asked AI to write it in the style of Don.
It was either Todd Blanche, which I doubt, or Steven Cheung, which is probably way more likely. It reads exactly like something Cheung would write.
Any time you see something that sounds just as deranged as Trump, but too long or too formatted to be him, it's usually Cheung.
