anywho e33. even though i have 400 hours in nightreign, it’s not a serious game of the year contender. skong it is for second place

edit: more about the games i played

blue prince: definitely a cool idea and was fun figuring it out, but the rng in the game could be incredibly frustrating and definitely can leave a bad taste behind

E33: the first game in a very long time that when i was done playing it, I texted my old friends from college who were into rpgs and told them they needed to play the game

nightreign: a blast otherwise I wouldn’t have so many hours in it, but it’s not really “new”, and the roguelike aspects are not as strong as they could have been

tactics: it’s a remaster

skong: very punishing at times to the point of infuriating but it was still a great first playthrough, and getting through the final act felt rewarding enough because of the challenge

wilds: fun enough for the first playthrough but i always get tired of the grind

i will pick up hades2 and like enjoy it when it comes to console because i am a scrub

2XKO is probably the most fun I've had playing a fighting game in a minute.

The denizens of r/kappachino want it to fail but it's legit a super fun game once you get over yourself and accept the lack of motion inputs.

Trails FC is the only new non-gacha that I played and I loved the fuck out of it. Got me genuinely invested in the Trails of universe.
