CHOURIO was 0-4 with two strikeouts though.
and who got the win? MLB wins leader Aaron Ashby, extending his lead with his 9th win
Imagine facing Cam Schlittler only to face Gerrit Cole the very next day. Then you have Will Warren and Ryan Weathers who are no slouch themselves.
Probably the best rotation in baseball this season. My favorite part is that when Max Fried comes back Carlos Rodon can go sell empanadas in front of Yankee Stadium.
Ryan McMahon just went oppo taco against this Royals bullpen. Let that marinate for a minute.
Salary cap stuff

The Dodgers would have to drop like $200mil to get under the cap lol. I wanna see that cap happen especially just to watch how destroyed their roster gets, but there would likely be some kind of 'grandfathered-in' clause or something to ease teams above the cap to be cap compliant
Speaking of stupid expensive Dodger stuff. They're doing another One Piece night vs the Padres on Thursday July 2. Go to see tickets. Every seat from top deck, to the outfield bleachers, and the field level along the foul poles are $280+
Friday non-giveaway day vs the Padres? $104 top deck
Ok how about that Monday Bobblehead night against the Rockies? $80 top deck.
And a non-giveaway night on Tuesday? $62
Removing Snell (IL), Glasnow (IL), Teoscar (likely pulled a hammy, IL?), and Tucker (grossly overpaid lol) would drop them to $237M.
Seems like it would be a huge legal shitstorm not to have some kind of clause to grandfather in teams over the cap. I don’t see how you would be able to address it otherwise.
Not like it matters anyway. The MLBPA has already responded with a hard cap being a nonstarter. Lockout here we come.
Banning the deferred salary nonsense the Dodgers have been abusing would go a long way to curbing their roster without a hard cap IMO.They'd be paying an obscene luxury tax if Ohtani wasn't making like 10M/season on paper.
Should still have a hard cap, but it would be better than nothing.
Thank fuck the Giants are changing third base coaches.
Can safely say we lost at least three games due to him.

severino just got injured somehow warming up for the second inning
The MLB actually suspended Uribe for 1 game for the crotch chopping, lmao. Unbelievably soft.
This Pirates/Twins game is 7-7 in the *checks notes* 4th inning? lol.
Looks like an Orioles fan just broke Sanchez's wrist by throwing a ball at him from the stands while he wasn't looking.
Reading that it was an honest mistake as it was a kid who thought Sanchez was gonna play catch with him. I need to see the video because that is so ridiculously unlucky lol
The broadcast only had really grainy zoomed in video because no camera was focused on right field at the time. It looks like he was talking to someone and he kinda waved his glove and then turned back to the game and the ball came in and hit him in the wrist while he was turning.
It does sound like it was a young fan which kinda sucks for that kid.
