Imagine hiring a head hunter, and search firm, and they scour the entire globe interviewing plenty of names for a pretty prestigious job that would be high paying. It's less about his knowledge and more about his attitude. You'll never find a guy who loved playing for the Leafs as much as he did, or who was as passionate as he was. He was so offended by the Leafs offering to trade him in the final year of his deal that it created a rift that lasted over a decade. His book is really good if you're looking for something to read.

I'm not keen on Chayka for obvious reasons but any way that Mats wants to be involved with the team, is good for the team.
