This is going to be the worst Stanley Cup finals ever. I will probably not even watch much of it.

Freddy with a shutout hat trick lol.
Montreal’s tank is on empty, but credit to Dobeš. He has kept it respectable.
If you mean their confidence tank, then yeah. If they can rally their morale and win another game in Raleigh, I'll be very impressed.
They're going to be a really good team in 2-3 years though, and Dobeš is going to be a monster. He was probably still talking shit from the net till the very end of that.
If you took a drink every time the Habs made a soft pass up the middle of their own zone directly to a Hurricane, you'd be in the ER with alcohol poisoning before the third period started.
I think its going to be wonderful. A team that knows how to win (Vegas) and a team that is playing some of the best 5-man system hockey we've ever seen in league history (Carolina).
Vegas wins? Cool... get to see Marner vindicated and Toronto implode.
Canes win? Cool... get to see former Penguin cornerstone Jordan Staal captain his own team to the Stanley Cup - the same club his older brother also took to their last cup 20 years ago.
Also Slavin deserves a ring - the man is so amazing to play in a Lidstrom-esque way where its all cerebral how he's shutting things down - its not speed, its not strength, its just being 3 decisions ahead of the play.
worst SCF outcome possible
"Marner vindicated" lol.
Claude Lemieux has passed away.

Being reported as suicide by TMZ
All it took was one cup for Ovi going from the man who couldn't get over the hump to the man who climbed the mountain.
Marner looks like he might get a Cup AND a Conn Smythe.
Not to mention Matthews lead Team USA to gold this year... at a certain point you need to wonder if its the market and culture in Toronto and not the individual players you're currently scapegoating
None of that is vindication for Marner. It's all validation for the Leafs that the problem was between his ears the entire time.
He piled a ton of pressure on himself with his contract negotiations, crumbled under it, and sent his camp after everyone online who said anything about him. He (and/or the people in his immediate circle) is terminally online. That's a him problem. Taking digs at the team and fans on his way out is a him problem.
There is surely a culture problem within the team, as evidenced by the entire Gudas fiasco and all the coverage that got. But trying to say it's the fans' fault is just silly. The Leafs are the most valuable franchise in the league. Players make more sponsorship money signing in Toronto than anywhere else. Neither of those things are because fans hate the players.
I personally loved him the entire time he was here, despite the obvious and glaring playoff shortcomings. I wish he was still on the team. He left like a total douche though.
Can't believe I gotta root for Carolina to beat Vegas. Enemy of my enemy etc but man what a shitty hockey year

nah, fuck carolina always and forever
Leaf fans are the only ones who have actually moved on. The rest of the league can't stop talking about his time as a Leaf.
Anyway here's Ryan Lindgren delivering a flying elbow to the head of Evan Bouchard and knocking him out cold at the IIHF Worlds yesterday.
