Ignoring his stats from last year, compared to other players who have roughly similar point production output as his other 2 full seasons, his contract is definitely higher then most but not by much. If anything, good on Raddysh for getting the bag, going from a $975k/yr contract to $8.5mil

If he can hit around 60 points, that would put his contract at around the same cost of other defencemen with similar production, so yeah not really a terrible contract even if he doesn't reach his same production as last season.
