Markstrom is such a wild card. He's pretty far removed from his Vezina years and he's become infamous for letting in a goal on the first shot he faces (happened 9 times in 1 season in Calgary in like 60 games, and happened a bunch of times in NJ too).

On one hand, he can occasionally play lights out and steal games, and on the other he can often be pretty mediocre especially compared to his performance years back. But if Florida's D can help him be league average, he should be enough

FLA has a good system and can turn players that are mid to shit on other teams into superstars here. If they could have afforded it they would have shoot for helle or even skinner, but this move also helps fix a lot of cap issues.

Like, this is what our 4th liner commands on the market. Jesus fucking Christ, take him please. Loved the guy while he was here, but this is too rich for our blood now. Likely the same for Helle and many others in this market especially with teams knowing we'll actually pay out the nose for the right person.
