Man, I want to see a proper combat trailer, rather than something that's part of a cinematic trailer, since what I'm seeing here looks far more appealing than the first game in terms of attack style.

To be fair, Eve looked younger in the initial trailer for stellar blade but now that aside, that's when the game didn't have a title yet, it was still called project eve, not stellar blade, but since this is a first look and it's still in development, maybe they'll age this character up too like they did w/ the prior game

Game director says the character design is intentional as he believes a smaller and shorter protagonist makes for better for close-quarters combat.

I wouldn't have known the first game existed if not for the dumb ass manufactured controversy it generated, so that tracks.

Though I had understood that by the end, that crowd had soured on the game for a bunch of dumb reasons as well.

Her face features are very inconsistent during the trailer for sure. In some promo art she looks early 20s while some her face looks much rounder/younger. Meh
