I'm on your forum posting this question since you guys have been at this for so long, hopefully you know. Not here to start shit with Amarok or 22. I come in peace.

I saw this LS (began wth S, maybe Sekai, I thought it was mroe like sexai or something like that) at the KB camp. They were like 30 deep and all 75's, JP HNM ls.

Instantly everyone outside Priory I was talking to in /tell was saying "if they're there, KB/B will pop purple. Give up" (We were there for Behemoth, if KB popped we were in deep shit and didn't know which it was). Anyway, I know that some LS's use shitty tactics like deleting dat files, but there weren't any mobs in the zone besides the random elemental. So, we could all spam voke. I know that theres ways to turn down your graphics (or better yet, use a Ps2) and the menu>>abilities speed voking.

Here's my question finally. I know that JP LS's are fast, being closer to the server, but is it true that this LS are GODS like everyone was saying? There HAS to be a way to beat them, if everyone is playing fairly of course.

I dont know, yall dont have to respond, just venting with people who have more experience than we do in competing with "impossible to beat JP LS's" like this one.

Jersey... we have been going toe to toe with sekaix for 7+ months... at some points EVERYDAY 3times (fafnir/behe/adamatoise). The mob always pop purple because of there connection. deleting or renaming there data files make no difference expect really on fafnir.

You guys are just getting into this realm... there were LSs before BG like Gameover that had a screenshot of all the darters gone(killed), a red mage doing chain cast with dia with a Rapid fire controller... and the spell "goes off" 2-3 times, then a message comes back, already claimed.

If sekaix's stoner or others are there it's almost 100% chance they will get the claim when the know the spawn time....

if they dont know the time, or it's late and their people mite be tried you have a chance....

The only chance you have to beat them on claim is with a jp connection provokeing... Try this.

This is the behamut server, you'll see that your connection is in ms(milliseconds) is 100+... jps are sometime running at 5-10ms with 1-4 hops and playing with a japanese rapid fire controller... if it's sekaix 99/100 times they will win voke... same with PG

Well, with the pure technical aspect of it (the latency and connection difference), it sounds impossible. Not because of skills, just purely the speed difference.

I guess we dont camp what they do. Damn it, behemoth looks like alot of fun to fight, but apparently they LOVE that mob. I dont know why people with titles like "Fafnir Slayer" and "King B Dethroner" want to camp a mob that drops a mantle/knife worth a combined 2 mil ( I mean, easier stuff like Roc drops comparable value items for god sakes). Why would they wanna play with little old Behemoth when they can obviously take bigger kills? I know that King B is a weekly spawn, so does it mean that you have to kill normal B. six times before his day? Like a placeholder?

Well, they did add that uncapped BCNM with a Behemoth wannabe, but I didnt see any drops that are quite as worthwhile. It's not ALL about items purely, but it's sort of boring to fight for 40+ mins for an earth crystal too

they are there for King Behemoth not Behemoth. KB is not a weekly spawn, if Sekaix is there, than there's a chance it's KB.

and there really isn't much of anything that has drops comparable in value to what KB drops.

KB is the only spam race. Fafnir and Aspid can be claimed with luck/skill/concentration vs JP, as some of our now and then non JP (mitzki, mogi, malign) have pulled vs 40+ people in the zone. Those were all very memorable and we've lost more than we've won. You have to have an incredibly determined LS that on the whole doesn't quit from losing a claim to be able to kill the hardest NMs.

Claiming vs any JP LS is insanely fucking hard and is half the reason we camp kb/aspid/nid as little as we do. But it IS possible.

It really makes me happy to know that stuff like Genbu and the gods are spawned.

But, I've watched BG's vids very carefully when the mob drops (Ondori always opens the menu to see, a-thank-you lol) and it seems that only 1 abj. drops at a time (I know yall got 2 off Nihdog (sp) once). KB seems like ALL it drops is Abjurations -- wonder if that's why they camp it so much.

Worldx had all insanely /wet gear, but the rest of them were wearing all cursed/abj. stuff like Hetacomb gear. I mean, gloves, body, legs -- everything, all of them. Means they get ALOT of abj.'s

4 gods is the ultimate solution for NAs. we saw this early on, in about march. the pops arent 24 hour and for any normal JP LS take more people than can be online in awkward times to do so we had sky to ourselves for almost half a year and got what we wanted out of it.

KB drops way more than abj, and in fact, he's tied with aspid for the worst of the 3 (not saying much) HQ pop abj mobs, in terms of abj. his other loot though, is f*cking nuts.

and getting 2 abj from aspid/kb/nid is intense as hell. I've heard it's more common, but we're like 1 for 10. it's gay.

Sorry, going sort of off topic here, but work sucks and I dont have anything else to add to the topic

For a long time I was really satisfied thinking all I needed/wanted was War +1 stuff, but then I saw the Hetacomb stuff. Abjurations...I really didn't want to have to pray for those. 1 drops, IF it's the type you need, trading points and hoping you get it. It's too stressful to get all excited about armor you may or may not ever get to play with. Well, if I ever get to have Hetacomb stuff, cool, if not the War +1 (and other misc. items) will put me at +34 DEX total, and that's cool by me.

I really have fun with my friends in my LS killing stuff like Roc. I've been dreaming about the day we step foot in Sky together for the first time (even though half of them have Sky already). That's really all that matters to me.

I was having one of those weaker moments, questioning why I struggle to level grind over and over. I mean, at 62 I was hitting for 2, 10, 0, miss on Gobs in Bibki Bay. Leveled a couple times and now it's normal, but still. I was mad that you never truely get powerful, if you're fighting anything more than too weak. Well, it was just one of those "why am I doing this" moments. Struggle to level - and for what? To get better armor. Whats the point in that? To level some more, efficiently.

But then I remembered -- it isn't what I'm doing, it was the path to get there. The Zilart Missions with my friends, the stupid jokes we told while trying to get Lanterns to drop, the time Belkin started singing the "Safety Dance" in Castle Baileys. It's not where I'm at, the armor I have or where we're going, it's the path to get there together. New armor just means I can do more things with them.

So, with that attitude, losing claim to shit like Behemoth is ok. Noone wants to never get to fight these mobs, but if we dont, we still got to hang out and have fun.

I'll forget this outlook next time we're camping something and lose it to someone else. I'll probably get all upset and go "this is impossible ><". But for now, I'm enjoying this reminder.

yeah... BG's ventillo is fun stuff, and we have stuff that we all really laugh about, like hellboy's mom, but with out a doubt if you not careful these camps can destroy ls morale.

imagine... 30 days in a week, 30 fafnir pops, about 2-5 nidhoggs out of those 30 days. Being at everyone of them, and being out voked by jps every single time. At some point it gets hard to get excited about a 3 hour camp. 3 hours wasted, nothing to walk away with... and if you did get the voke i think half the people would die of a heart attack.

You guys should really invest your time to further the ls. 1/30 3 hour camps is not good stuff. Fafnir/KB/Aspo should be the last of your camping options if you wanted to see the ls grow... just a word of advise.

I've seen first hand the "Camp burn out" syndrome.

Roc - simurgh are the easiest of the HNMs.... most important is ls member lvls, then go after serket and amikiri and maybe even cassie if you wana be brave. Sky is good but you need a full 20-25 lvl 75 to start doing gods.

The sad thing is even if you have jp's in your ls like i do, it is still hard to win pull. Many times we have camped behemoth etc and lost pull to wayfarer,sekaix,pg. It is discouraging that on some servers fafnir is unclaimed for hours and on bahamut if any hnm is unclaimed more then 5min its a miracle.

there is seriously no way u can get behemoth...unless there are no jps there and it is just staying there waitin for someone to kill it....which rarely occurs...

if ur ls really wants to do HNMs....stick to roc,serket,simurgh and king arthro...this are the real easy ones....

as for fafnir and adamantoise...they are easy to kill too...its just the pulling part is a little tricky....so in this places...pulling of this HNMs is more or less evened out between NA and JP....

So, if NA actually claimed KB on Bahamut, would the server implode in on itself? Or would red flags go up at SE central, KB would suddenly use a two-hour long invincible move, and fifty Vrtras would pop at his spawn?
