1) Yes, I NEVER used her save the times to get Limit Break, she will steal your Materia if you head to Wutai.Originally Posted by Akiro
2) I don't think she leaves, but the Wutai area is a sidequest of a sort, it's not mandatory last I remember, however, unless you go to Wutai, you can never get her final Limit BreakAlong with some other cool shit later on.
Her final limit break sucks compared to her final level 3 one (same with red xiii). I always found yuffie to be funny, that's why I liked her. I never used Cid much, best team was cloud yuffie and xiii
dont you get the Leviathan Materia when you fight all the mobs for each floor? i never got Yuffie's final Limit Break didn't really know how to the ones i mostly got where the people i didnt use much.![]()
Leviathan sucks ass too. =P Really no point going up there unless you want some good weapons for your PT on the first disk.
I did the side quest early on but I waited to get the Leviathan materia until later so that I could get Trine on all 4 Enemy Skill materia.
Enemy Skill materia pissed me off in the fact I was able to get all but like 2 fucking skills, still can't find them, gave up @.x
Which ones? There are a couple that you only have a certain number of chances at.
one is from the second Jenova you fight... so you have one chance at getting it
Aqualung? You can get that from a few other mobs too (Chimaeras in the desert near Gold Saucer use it).
really? oh well, actually, the enemy skill materia is the only one I just don't care about, even thought I should if I really want a complete game... guess I suck and have to start from the beginning again lol
There are a few mobs that use Aqualung, if you're missing it you might still be able to get it. If you don't have Trine though and you already got Leviathan you won't be able to get it completed. The only other E.Skill I can remember that is limited is Pandora's Box.
Could be missing Pandora's Box, don't recall that one, I'd actually have to load up that old game and find out which ones I have/don't have. Trine you can also get from the Materia Keeper :D I'm usually so buffed up before him I wait the fight out until he uses it. One time I leveled too much I was able to slam him with Ice 3 >.>Originally Posted by Quicklet
I know I got Shadow Flare though, that's one mean SOB.
Trine is used by I think 3 monsters in the game and they're all bosses.
Pandora's Box is weird, it's used when you kill one of the monster's in the final dungeon but they only use it the first time you kill them.
Get me a list and I can probably tell you which ones I'm missing. I can't think of them off the top of my head of which I have currently, but odds are the name would ring a bell.
Angel Whisper
Aqualung
Bad Breath
Beta
Big Guard
Chocobuckle
Death Force
Death Sentence
Dragon Force
Flame Thrower
Frog Song
Goblin Punch
Laser
L4 Suicide
L5 Death
Magic Breath
Magic Hammer
Matra Magic
Pandora's Box*
Roulette
Shadow Flare
Trine*
White Wind
????
Pandora's Box and Trine should be the only two that you can permanently miss. All of the others should be obtainable at the end of the game if you haven't gotten them. As long as you don't fight Godo before you get the 4th Enemy Skill materia you can get Trine on all your E.Skill materia. And like I said Pandora's Box supposedly is only used the first time you kill a Dragon Zombie in the final dungeon.
I added in my yes/no's, got a maybe in there simply because I'm not sure. It SOUNDS familiar, but I can't remember wtf it does @.x, thanks though <3Originally Posted by Quicklet
Dragon Force, I think that was like a 3-elemental attack either that or it was a defensive move. Chocobo Buckle...hmm, chance attack of some sort... Only ES I found useful was White Wind, especially early into the game.
I don't see how you can really miss Pandora's Box unless you finish the game, since some normal enemies use it on the way down the crater, it's like some big messed up zombie dragon organic shit.
I didn't start caring about collecting them till the end, i got Pandora's Box my accident when i was going for Shadow Flare >_> but i never got to finish the list i didnt know where some of the skills were, even if they were a few times to get them you would have to carry it with you 100% of the time and hope that if its not a aoe attack that the character holding the materia was hit my the skill which made it a pain getting shadow flare -_-;
Reading this makes me wish that there was a Blue Mage job in FFXI.
