Finishing cop now is not even worth it. Sure, the new areas are good but they are still incomplete. No new gods yet etc etc.

As soon as i hear they add them (Prob in 1 day with a dedicated bunch), I will dedicate myself to finish them. I'm the tarutaru who does not even have rank 10 in any nation and i've been playing the game for 2 years.

You don't have to go through too many missions to find out who the ruler of Dynamis is. Just cause there is no end game content yet does not mean CoP is pure crap and should be ignored. If you even care the slightest about story line, try some of the missions out.

i'm not ignoring it, i'm putting it aside for now. I've done most of the cop missions. Anyway, Where i'm at in cop has nothing to do with this thread.

He's right about one thing tho, doing CoP at this point has no real motivation, there's no point except for storyline. But if you like to be abused by the BCs and watch an interesting storyline, you should definatly do them.

Honestly I thought CoP missions were challenging and definatly require versatility in job department. I used about 6-7 different jobs to do CoP. WAR/PLD/RDM/BLM/WHM/BRD and many others which I don't remember. o_o

Do it for the experience, CoP storyline is great and the missions are hard and challenging, going through CoP added a whole new experience in FFXI, one of the better ones at that.

Doing it just for the new future gods is a good way to get people started, but once you get goin into it and get deeper in the story you'll wanna finish and keep goin just to see what happens next.

Also it's not like Tu'Lia where you can get all your ZM's done in like 1 or 2 days with a good group... it will take you several weeks to completely CoP and that's if you're not in an HNMLS camping shit daily and have a really great setup of 6 dedicated people who can be online every couple days to get missions done.

My LS on siren tried the DL tonight but we failed to get rid of Ying and Yang in time. What method do other LS's use to get rid of the 2 dragons? Voke kite team? Do the dragons hate reset? Had a hard time voking these and keeping hate.

Then you must of been skipping everything the npc's were saying. Double check Shrowded Maw and Spire of Vhazl cutscenes.
