GMs are just front-line support... they're told to answer questoins... that's it. They get paid to do their job and they're not going to lose their job going against the rules just because someone stole an HNM.

If you dont try and badger customer support they will think everything is ok with there "Dont do jack" service.

At work when a customer complains I pass it on to the director and see what can be done.... pushing a GM into giving his opinion may get him off his ass and do something....

Customers are the first part of the equation... to have there own workforce complain will get the wheel spinning faster.

That maybe true to some extent, but in most situations it wont.

I have experience dealing with customer service (was a dispatcher for a limo company). Most companies aren't concerned with CSR's personal opinion and want them to stick to company guide lines/rules during phone/email conversation. Also in some ocassions, calls are monitored, and no CSR wants to jepardize their job because of his/hers personal opinion that he/she may later be reprimanded by their supervisor.

Don't think of GMs as drones, no matter how robotish they may sound, they're just following company policy, nothing more. And I'm not defending them, it's just pointless to complain about them not doing anything, w/o fully being aware of what GM can and can't do.

Personally I'd like to be able to read the rules and guidelines a GM has to abide by, cause I want to understand their motive in dealing with situations how they do.

I also called a GM at that gi lsellers stealing serket thing. Eventually I got a response from a GM, and they went on about how there is nothing they can do about it (sorry ps2, no chat log screenshots).

Eventually when he asked if there was anything else he could do for me, well...this:

ROFL, that is comedy gold there. The only time I saw a GM actually out was when a JP LS stole KB from a shell on my server, then they started yelling racist remarks back and forth, see Hiroshima comments, and Pearl Harbor.

We had a JP group claim Fafnir and hold for 9hrs. GM's said they couldn't do anything as they were engaged and it was their mob. What was really fun was the next day servers reset and still kept it in NA time.

Senior GM Caedmon was the GM that responded to us when Deodeo claimed and called for help on our Tiamat. Luck us, we got a senior GM. He was actually pretty nice and DID put a warning on Deodeo's account, but due to their rules, they can't do anything to him unless he does it again. The GMs contacted a Japanese GM who responded that according to Deodeo's LS chat, what he did was an accident. So they couldn't ban him =(. Goddamn technicalities. Anyway, Caedmon is a senior GM if anyone's looking for assistance.

Also, after the event, GM Luminious was called by Deodeo when members of my LS were attempting to MPK him Boyahda tree. They were sent to GM jail and then put in the same room. Luminious told them "normally your accounts would all be flagged for an act like this but I was just informed about the Tiamat incident and we will lift all warnings." He continued to joke with my LS members before releasing them.

Kazrift was the GM I got when I was reporting MPK on those damn gilsellers in Kuftal.

I was helping an LS mate get points on his Sapara of Trials (we were killing CRABS) near the Amemit area and apparently they felt offended.

I must say they totally SUCK at MPK. Since they couldn't drop 20+ Robber Crabs on two people. Hell I had Escape ready and shit and didn't even need to use it -.-

When I got MPKed at Amemit it was about 20 crabs, 15 spiders, scorpion, a few cactuars. They booted the guy, supposedly for good, but of course now he is back even though he has MPKed about 50 people atleast in that same spot.

What I should of done my last day was grab a few Ladons, Tigers, and Cockatrices onto to those little bastards, atleast went out in style.
