i'm quite sure (not 100% but maybe 99%) mob doesn't need to be claimed when it dies, the exp, drops, title goes to those who hit him last before unclaim

i know this because back as a level 20 bard i solo'd worms at qufim using requiem, and they go unclaim all the time when they die

After a late start we had Jorm down to about 8% where it stayed in the 10-15% hp for over an hour, when he went into rage mode and we were just fighting to stay alive, not to kill the dragon.


We had 2 flails that came moments after Horrid Roar (most annoyin move ever) both at the 10% life mark.. we recovered from both but it was 4am EST and we had lost a few people, started with 35, and so I gave the call to logout and try again another day

About 2 from 2 months ago :X. Wiped about 25/35 people out, (was more Defeated by thaty I didnt catch) Eventually recovered but it was 3 AMish and he was at 30% by the time we were good.

We had it him at about 5-7% when he did it, then did 3 blood weapons, and of course hp regen. (I scrolled up for shot ;x)
