Chain 41? pffft that's nothing. I got chain 42 with a PT of DRG/WHM in KRT at Lv75. And all of use was using Hand-to-Hand.

What i learnt is that rdm's act like spoiled little brats, they get pretty much everything yet complain about 1 spell 24/7 every single day.., i like pt's with brd and rdm cause brd can refresh while rdm shuts their danm mouth for a change rdm's get pt's before anybody and can get a pt within seconds with no flag up...so lvl drg to 75 then a rdm can say how "hard their job is :D

I'm in the same damn LS as you, idle on my MNK 95% of the time, unless we do a LS event which is when I change to RDM...

In anycase, it's a 2 sided coin, RDM spend 10 minutes LFG but when we get in a PT it's nothing but work, being on constant alert keeping those refreshes and hastes and debuffs going (not to mention nuking to MB and backup healing). Compare that to a melee, who sits looking for X to X hours, when they get a PT (and for some like RNG, it's as easy as BRD) all you do, it engage, sit there, hit a couple macros every now and again, and you fine.

Do you know how much stress i have, having a rng and sam with tp and they cant do crap without me...-.-' i gotta get tp fast use the million and one buffs i have and make the most of it in the shortest time. Also you think your job is hard, try nin...they don't get natural hate abilitys like pld, but a good nin uses his ninjutsu and a few use their throwing ability to keep hate, and still cant take any dmg and have to keep shadows up all the time, just like you have to keep Refresh up all the time 8)

ooo i love when ppl talk all knowingly about jobs they havn't actually lvled. the jobs that get the fast invites, have to work for their jobs. the ones that don't get the fast invites have the easier jobs, and therefor attract more people. any job can be twisted around to do what ever the hell you want it to. i always find it so amusing that every one picks on DRG saying it's the hardest job to lvl. well if you people would pull your heads out of your asses and think of the possibilities of the job, it wouldn't be that hard. but oh wait, thinking hurts people's brains when they've spent their lives being told what to believe.

yes i know i'm lvling brd because i can't lvl drg, but i'm also sick of this "End Game" drama crap, where someone bitches at someone else about what some over sized pixels dropped, or who 'claimed' it first.

Nah, that couldn't be it...

The only people who say a RDM is only for refresh is RDMs. Lets not forget about haste, back-up curing, magic bursting, paralyze, gravity, slow, dia, bio, poison, convert to keep a chain and then refresh. You complain about casting only one spell durring partys, well you cast more than BRDs, BLMs, and WHMs, so SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT REFRESH.

i invite rdm because i know they can do a wide array of tasks for the pt.

my best there is chain 42~ i know you can get higher(ive seen pics of 60~62 etc) but still getting 11k a hour with 40chains

Well, considering most people don't value enfeebling magic i'd have to say so. BRDs don't debuff much, if at all, Elegy is about it, but making the PT members stronger over maker the monsters weaker to a point where it's even with a BRDs buffs is near impossible. When it comes to jobs you invite them with a certain intention in a PT. You invite a WHM with the intention of them healing - curing, which you can get by alone with WHM. Regen and so on are extra's that the PT appreciate and make the job easier.

With RDM it's a little different, a RDM can get away with JUST refresh, we don't have to enfeeble, because it makes little difference to whether the PT moves fast or not. I do appreciate enfeebling magic, i've lived with it for 74 levels, and when we debuff we make life a slight bit easier.

Incase you didn't know, RDMs get this "refresh complex" if you will from end-game HNMs where your debuffs don't stick. So then it becomes a waste of MP trying, so all we're good for is refresh (and sometimes haste depending on config). Couple that with the crap we get in PTs and you have us - RDMs.
