I (think) I just saw this somewhere that may have been the FFXI main page.

It has come to our attention that some players have recently noticed that some HNMs are spawning with their names colored purple. After extensive testing we have determined that this is caused by a flaw in the display drivers making the color yellow display as purple, and not because of latency between JP and NA players, because we all know that that does not exist. Please adjust the hue and tint of your monitor until the names are yellow again. We apologize for any inconvenience that this issue may have caused, but it was your own fault for having crappy drivers.
