Oh I didn't even see Nightwish, My mistake. For Lacuna Coil, I believe that In A Reverie and Unleashed Memories were somewhat Gothic Metal, but Comalies...I don't know. It seemed much more simplisted and dumbed down. I guess it's a toss up on that one.

That's like people calling all electronic music "techno", no you fucks, techno is a genre on its own, then you've also got house, trance, breakbeats, jungle, drum & bass, big beat, trip hop, lounge, and then you've got those genres mixing with each other, plus other stuff that isn't even electronica, but people classify it all as "techno"

I can see why Amarok is annoyed, because I love electronic music and can tell the difference, same as him and metal. When people are in a club and they hear the latest from some twat like alice deejay and they say they like techno, what they are actually saying is they like cheesy commercial club music that would be equivalent to the latest blink 182 or some shit like that.
