Alchemy accomplishment's and disappointments

Asura webs are 20k, stacks of thread are around 510k. 30k premium for having someone else bother to collect and make them isn't bad.

still 7-8k on siren, if they were 20k i would live in boyahda

Kinda wanted to Bump this. Reading an Alchemy thread over on the Alla Forums, why do you guys level Alchemy? I have my reasons, but i'd find it intresting to read others. Mine are as follows:


-To synth my own crimson/blood set
-To make signed hawkers+1 for friends
-To be a H.Cluster wh0re for friends
-Just to be an alchemist.

Last one is cuz i've always liked the idea that Alchemists take one item and just distort it a bit. I wished we had more than just some knives, claws and katanas to alter. We only get a few other weapons/armor to mess with. I'd like a lot more.

I'm leveling my alchemy mule for several reasons:

- To have stuff to fill in my auction house gaps
- To make my own animas
- Because I have run out of stuff to make in clothcraft

Atre , reason I couldn't swing doing Panaecea(sp?) was because philosopher stones had risen from 500k to 1mil per stack once more people got higher in choco digging. That was going to be my original route to 98. However now that Ive got a little bit of gil now, I might be able to do that, before I usually had between 700k-1mil at a time and couldn't afford that.

Now wyvern wings and ahriman wings are hard to come by. Getting to 100 will not be easy ; ;
