Sounds like you're embarassed about some of the things you did when you were 15. Your brain doesn't change much after the age of about 2, so the only thing you could base that statement on would be the length of time that you've experienced since then. Yup, I did some stupid things but nothing to be embarrased about. From 10-12th grade I saw about 10 chicks get themselves pregnant. It was not pretty.

People have been having sex for the purpose of pleasure (and not child-bearing) for thousands of years. We're the ones who choose to avoid educating teenaged boys and girls about it. If she had a confused look about it now, imagine what having her whole family making her love life their business has done to her (not to mention if she finds out this has been posted on the internet and talked about; although she does retain anonymity, none of us know her or anything)

Point taken but it's too bad i don't agree with it. In life there are lessons you must learn on your own and there are those that will have a impact on those around you.

Her love life, how you say it is nothing but a small portion of what she is going to experience in life. In the past she's asked for advice before and it was given to her but in this situation she didnt and I think we are lucky to have found such a letter. Sex is something totally different in this day of age and it's not what you are making it out to be. Her love life has not been violated in the way that would hurt her in the near future. When someone so young screws up her life, people never question her for the wrong doing. They always say "what goes on in her household etc etc that would make her do something like this." I have two daughters that are 5 & 3 and I dread the day they hit this age. Yet on the same token I wont pretend (as my loving parents did) that situations such as these don't exist. I guess if I found the letter I would first talk to her, and let her know all about those STD's, pregnancy, and all the RL drama that can accompany her decision. Then I would tell her it needs to stop. Then I would talk to him and explain in front of others exactly the same point. Then when it was dark and I could catch him alone I would explain to him the exact reason why he should stay away from her and that being "Your life is too short son, dont make me have to shorten more" Also if you wrap your hands up in a towel and make sure you punch with knuckles up you wont leave marks ..........

i see your point, but just because he loves her to the point of sex, does that mean they cant just have "puppie love" anymore? so now that you know he has sexual feelings for her, they cant be together?

Well the way I see it is this ......... at the age of 15 you are not making decisions for yourself that I feel are to detrimental to the upbringing I am providing for you. So yes things such as this nature will be decided on by me not her not him. I would not forbid her to see him because I know that once you do that rebellion sets in. Once he knows my wish's on the subject then he and her should respect my decision. If he cant keep his 15 year old cock inside his pants then he has no respect for me therefor he will suffer the hardship of never seeing my daughter again. The main thing is the respect issue. I know when I was 15 I was thinking about boys and stuff like that, but right now, I dont think it would have been a good idea to have had sex, it would have made me more attatched and depended on the person, who, honestly, I wouldnt have seen again, and that would hurt me. What Zigma's sister seems to want is this 'love' kind of sex, not the 'pleasure' kind of sex. People who mutually look for pleasure in sex are generally the smarter ones and dont get hurt so badly in their relationships. As for people who want to 'love', well, you pretty much know that doesnt work out when you're 15.

If she was my little sister, i'd ask her what she wants: for him to love her more (then tell her having sex with somebody wont make them love you more), or just to have sex with him because she thinks she's ready (then you have the contraceptive talk here.)

I think it is important to let go somewhere and let your -self, sibling, child grow up and enjoy this aspect of a healthy sexual life, but only when they truly believe they are adult enough to take part in it. When they are old enough to say "No I'm not ready." you can be sure they're grown enough for you to let go~

This same thing happened to my sister a couple years ago.
