i d/l it last night but i can't seem to log in or anything grrr, i have a username/password but when i go to enter it, its like "no you can not type anything, you suck" orz

Happened to me too. Try pressing alt+shift before you type stuff. I had to do that cause I have IME installed and whatnot.

I think I'm going to delete my character and try for Oran. I got Redria and anyone who's ever had redria knows it sucks. At least it did for my old Fomarl.

just get a PS2 Controller (commonly called PSX) ==> USB converter and use that, its what i use, works realy well

Had the same problem. You have to turn off / delete any other installed languages besides English. You may have Japanese, etc. installed from ffxi for using the model viewer, etc. - in which case, that's why.

It's all in their support page on http://www.psobb.com -- "I cant type my username in the game menu".

Took me forever to solo that thing, I went in with a bunch of level 2 people, all died in the first burrow attack. -_-

You go to higher level areas and leech off the people you're with by shooting the enemy once or twice, +20 exp right there.

no ive been seeing some people 31+. You can't go past normal mode yet though =x

wtf.. cant go past normal mode? that's lame. (to anyone who isnt a veteran there are 4 modes total, and all the mobs change form in Ultimate mode) Level cap is 200. (unless that's also fucked up in the beta)

It's just beta. ;o They aren't going to let you have everything, they'll just get you hooked and then make you pay money for it.
