One person doesn't make the Whole LS cheaters, It makes One person a Cheater

If one person cheats, and the linkshell keeps them into the LS knowing they cheat to get them claims, it makes the linkshell cheaters.
If said person is the LEADER...its 100x worse.




Do the JP's bot ?? Quite possibly...Its kinda fucked up when one person from a LS vokes a NM (which only demonstrates that the rest of the group wasnt spamming); but you are naive to honestly think that the JP's are beating you because of bots alone.

Not to compound the whole issue more than it really is, but if someone in your LS does bot, and you dont make an attempt to stop it, you pretty much condone using bots, and therefore you aswell cheat. Botting HNMs is like getting GameGenie codes for your favorite SuperNintendo games. It gives you a statistical advantage that makes end-game play extremely boring and adds more fuel to the drama fire. Does it suck being out-voked 1 out of 20 HNMs? Sure does. Does it suck watching the same JP LSs get every HQ HNM no matter what time it pops? Hell yes. Is it going to make the game any better if you or someone else bots just get that that extra 1% advantage? Not in the least.

this was taken from a long site dedicated to anti-botting on shiva server by a well known jp ls that has lost almost 100% of the pulls to some kind of super bot. He's showing his ping to prove his setup is good, but when i saw his average ping to be 10.. and mine @150-180 , and this guys losing pulls it kinda hurts your morale

with a ping difference like this even removing .dats wont do you any good imo ^^;

Like I blatantly said, and I'll state it again:
Zeion removes Manticores, Raptors and Perytons allowing him to spam voke in an area other people wont, because they arent foolish enough to remove those kinda mobs.

I showed up 3 min after Aspi spawned, with the rest of SD. SD wasnt there at pop, Emerald wasnt there, and one person from banCHA was there (he was getting ToD, they were expecting Nidhogg, they got fucked since Faf spawned). Yet, Zeion was dead, because he got assaulted by the adds there. Why carelessly pull a HNM when there is no competition (unless one banCHA smn is gonna solo aspi) ?? Because he had no fucking clue what adds were around...

to be honest - many things with this game I find a bit irritating now adays.

the fact that NA getting claims on our server is rediculously hard, and yet you see all these pictures and videos of other NA LSs on other servers with koenig bodies out the ass, etc.

We went to fafnir 14 days in a row without claim - our only chance was having the HNM ls who claimed it wipe - and us to lot.

Now this alone is a bit gay - knowing that all the end game gear you work so hard to level up for, and you spend so much time as a linkshell trying to get - - is taken out of your reach because of where you live in real life.

Square will never fix this - and here is why. The investment of time in the auto translate function. The mix of race on the servers to try to create a community between the cultures. HNM claiming was one thing they overlooked. Competition that no longer matters on level of players, or skill - but their connection to the game. If anything - square would say the solution is obvious: get some JP members. Heres the problem

Well its not off topic. Many people have been using Bots to compete with JP linkshells for claim - - The defense is "well its only fair for making up the connection difference" - - ok. well. Now its quite obvious that some JPs are probably now using bots to claim as well - argument? - "its the only fair way to compete against bot using NAs". - - -

Do we see the problem in this?

Before it was simply hard because the connections differed. But there was still an element of luck. People get claims - it may not happen all the time, but I mean - - there are some NA LSs that claim. For example - we got aspid. It popped right infront of one of our members, and luckly - out of the way of the majority of the people there. He tabbed over and hit enter - bamn, an NA claim.

But now - when you have JPs botting - its something completly different. You see, the argument that "its leveling out the field" - is not leveling out the field at all.. Its impeding on everyones gameplay because you dont wish to accept the truth - - - autotranslator.

The people who bot are only making the game worse - this isn't a direction twords correcting the problem, this is going away from it.

Whats the solution? simple.

Protest.

Get as many NA HNM LS members to all agree to cancel their account on a certain month - I bet you will get results within 24 hours. Either a plan for a fix or something to reduce this issues hold over the end game community.

This doesn't work either... i know it the "last resort" option and it seems like they'd care, but you... I... are only but a fish in the ocean that is SE.

I've play many other MMOgames; UO, EQ, PSO, SWG, etc. I can tell you their is always a group of people that make it to the game end, and have to wait for more content. Doesn't matter what game, all gamers will strive for the end game, and then when they get there ask for more and more and more and more.

EQ, or everquest, had a guild or Linkshell that was more known and more imfamous then ANY... and I mean ANY other guild out there. Their name was Fires of Heaven, or FoH for short. Varent made a End game only expansion, and when they got to the final stage that took forever to get to... there as NOTHING... and I mean NOTHING todo... it wasn't finished yet. They threaten Varent with a 2 week (i think it was 2 weeks) limit to finish the game, or all of the end game community in their server would quit.... 2 weeks pasted by, and they quit... End of story. Furor their leader now works for Blizzard, but this LS even had friends at Varent, they knew the people that fking made the game... and a strike, petition, or whatever you wana call it doesn't work.

They are only working as fast as they can to get more content out.... Infact, they are more likely to put more people on the project for more content if they have more people playing and more lvl 75 people on every server.

Quiting or striking is fine, but i dont see many people joining with you.

Oh and btw I'll give you a Hint why NA can win claims at Adaman/aspi as well. It's been Stated from GFN,that bots don't work in the Sorrows zone for some reason.

im not asking for more end game content. Im asking for a solution to the problem they created. adding anything else to the game wont change a thing - if they added abjurations to bc99s, it'd still mean we'd have to get 99 seals together and the JPs would just have to log on for 3 hours n grab it. I dont know - maybe im rediculous in thinking that people in this game would stand up for what they want. and maybe there really is no solution to the problems that currently exist - - but I just don't understand why people are looking to cheating as a fix.

the whole thing about the protest - i just look at it this way. obviously square is losing people - I got an email the other day "Return to Vanadiel" - - - if they are willing to come up with shit to promote inviting new players, and getting people back into the game - - - what about losing around 500 people on every server. even if just for a month. look at it on a wider scale.

Theres 31 servers - lets just say, though the number is probably larger - that its 4000 accounts participate on each server. Now - I'm not 100% sure but isn't it 12.50 per month? with 1 character? - - so that would be 195k loss on that month. Think thats not much? zoom it out farther. with those numbers they are only making about 1.5 million a month off players. You take around 200k out of that - its a pretty big dent.

Of course 500 players per server would be crazy good results - but atleast no one would be breaking the EULA, and the game would either get better or get worse. You take a chunk of money out of their budget for the year - the content has to go one of 2 directions. And if they balanced out end game camping - im sure more people would "Return home to vanadiel".

and on the more enjoyable side - If it actually got to the point of being like 500 members per server, I bet another major game would probably be willing to issue month trial accounts to try to steal these angry members over.

idk. maybe im nuts. i havent slept in 2 days or so - so forgive typos n crazy ranting - - but the point is
