There's nothing that should be said. Bert said in the post who ganked and who abandoned wiffleball. It's over now...plain and simple. It's just that you happen to be one of those who ganked/abandoned and don't like your name being there...so what?

You call him a "heartless fuck"....Well fuck you. Your real life has nothing to do with FFXI, just has others have previously stated.

You obviously have no idea who he is. He's managed to help create one of the best NA LSes across all servers, while at the same time deal with the shit people like you give him when their name ends up on the shit list.

You got your AF...you left...it's that easy. You're not the only one...but you're sure as hell the only one complaining and instigating.

With all that said, it still does not justify calling everybody AF2 thiefs and saying that the linkshell fell apart because of greed. 90% of the people who went to dynamis went because they wanted to clear and actually write history on the server. 90% of those people left because of all the crap and bad name calling/insults that went on in the linkshell itself and that's the side of the story nobody is telling.

Wiffleball, to date would have had the same number of people from the original reformation if we all knew how to:


1) Get along
or
2) Learned to shut up and grow up.


Wiffleball, to date would have had more people with complete AF2 sets if people could have:



1) Get along

Wiffleball would have successfully finished dynamis if people could have:

Yet when you see recent videos from people, you have someone calling someone else an asshole, people fighting over petty disputes that went on in the past etc etc.

this post/disbanding was a buildup of frustration after having tried so many times and having reached the same depressing results.

I feel you for that but there is a lot of ways you could have expressed your frustration without having to piss on a lot of people. Then again, i still believe that wiffleball never disbanded because of greed of Af2, more or less it was attitudes towards each other. In 5th grade I beat the shit out of this kid because i found my glasses broken and he pointed it out to me. The next day i went to the principles office and i told him the same exact thing you just said. He said "Everyday I get pissed over the same crap people do but you now know what i do? I bang on my desk and keep it to myself and find better ways to remedy the situation, I don't go out and beat the shit out of someone else" (more or less, that's how i remember it, he did not use bad words lol 5th grade >.>)

With due respect, come on, In the end it was attitudes first, Af2/greed (if people still see it that way) second. Agree or disagree with me, call me an asshole and make fun of me. This is how I see it and i believe this is how many people see it. The reason they don't post or choose to remain anonymous is because they don't wanna wake up in the morning and have the same people quoting their post and calling them a bad guy, a miserable failure and an overall waste of space who contributed nothing. They rather keep their names out of it.

edit: oh and btw, i take no sides and my post are neutral. I speak from my personal experience.

Dynamis shells usually fall appart ONLY because of Greed. When people stop showing up to areas that they have AF for, or ditch the LS they are a member of just to make a NEW dynamis LS that is advantageous to them...that is Greed.

I remember months ago, looking at a crowd of people with a yellow linkpearl at the trail markings in Ru'lude Gardens. I /check ed one of the members, and the linkpearl name was Wiffleball. Having heard little of Dynamis before outside of it being a deathfest, I was curious to see what its all about.

Fast forward. Now level 72 DRK(took lotsa breaks from levelling to do other in game stuff), and I see Wiffleball is recruiting once more. I talked to Quicklet briefly one day, and after a short conversation, I was told to come to Dynamis-Jeuno on sunday. I came sunday, and Quicklet was no where to be found, although after a brief conversation I got a linkpearl. Compared to my other Dynamis experiences, I was shocked. So well organized, everyone listened pretty much, not even close to wiping once and clearing with a lot of time to spare.

I've been reading the forums for a while now, and from looking around a bit, have seen that Wiffleball is pretty much the only NA Dynamis LS that really had the potential to beat Dynamis Lord. Hell, I'd stick to the end for that, can't get much of a better accomplishment in game then that 8), not to mention I like going to Dynamis for the experience. No other NA Dynamis linkshell was really close at all. Even those with stolen strategies.

So, I equip the linkpearl today, and what do I see? Wiffleball is dead !
