lol yeah that was a long time ago and it was our first attempt. Our Job levels were mostly around 60-65 so it became an aggro fest. Also, we did not have Utsusemi: Ni tank. Was fun trying though. :wink:

Valintino yes I do belive rdm is better healer than a whm in many cases. My main is Whm and I also have a 75rdm and I belive I am qualified to say such statement.

While that maybe true, RDM maybe an efficent main healer, but only if he has a BRD to back him up, other than that I wouldn't recommend it. Especially on Golems.

You are the one who tried to make a pld/drk/whm/rdm/blm/war party... I am only trying to point to you that it is very difficult for this combination to become a good exp party since the rdm has to refresh 5 people (including himself) at the same time.

If you still dont understand what I am saying, please help yourself and ask a BG rdm. He/she will help me explain why its bad to have a party combination where the RDM has to refresh 5 people.

Here's a difficult thing to do, try refreshing 5 BLMs and pull in BLM PT and still get Chain 10. Maybe I'm just a masochist.

Ya, I was the only NIN tank at the time and I wasn't there. We definetly have learned that job > level. Go take a lv 65-70 PLD main tank Serket and see how well your alliance does when everyone else is 60-65 in an area with aggro...I really got to say, that was not one of our smartest moves. But we did own Serket the very next time.

As soon as i read this i just had to reply to this crap...and honestly seeing as you are in fact a lvl 75 rdm, it really only rages me further. First off, about the whole deal about whm vs rdm in terms of main healer, yes RDM is capable to do it, but WHM will always be superior to em, i really don't know why you would even say that to be honest.

Now the real reason why i am replying to this...for you to say to have a PT set up where the RDM is refreshing 5 ppl+ and saying it will not work is BS. I have been in many a PT where as a RDM I am refreshing 5+ ppl(yes i say 5+ b/c i have been in a few PTs where all 6 ppl where magic users) and guess what, the exp was still good, if not great. For you to make such comment leads me to believe that you are a lazy RDM, b/c if you have to refresh most of the ppl in your PT, all that means is that your jobs duties are expanded, nothing more. You should still be doing what all RDMs are supposed to be doing in a standard PT with no problem at all.

btw when we almost wiped our tank was a war/nin who forgot shiehi, the only person with utesumi was sirmog and he was rng/nin, main healer was a blm with 600 mp due to a war sub with no refresh, i killed serket, i invited blk who hit it 3 times for a total of 91 damage, i was still alive with 149 hp, we might have died if i didnt invite him but who knows and who cares. PoS go Kill Kirin.

1. Yes so do I, but not with a paladin tank against golems.

2. First off we had a samurai, not warrior, lol. Second off there's not a thing wrong with that party set up, you're simply out of your mind to think that something is the matter (somebody was babied by rangers her/his/its entire xp career, no offense raners :wink: )

3. RDM job is by no means 'easy' Difficult is in our job descriptions, if you like to play lazy then that's on you, I would've had to work harder if you would've went as a second RDM with a paladin against golem tanks.
