PLD and NIN (this is going to get ugly, but anyway...)

I have paladin and ninja to 75 and let me tell you, they are both totally useless if you're in BG/on bahamut.

KG is very good at NIN NA wise. Ive got to see him tank and when he left Naj really stepped up and impresses me just as much. They have almost identical equips and skill wise they are very close. I remember Naj just joined a few days before me and they threw him in against byakko as his first HNM and he just dropped to the ground. O boy when the game used to be fun and how far people can come with some experience. <3 KG

i might be stupid. but i think i read ninja getting a move called Utsusemi:San? never seen it but is it real?

Heres the thing.. me 75 drk thought i would lvl nin to 37 and kick soo much ass well i lvled nin and i found out drk/nin is even more than worthless lol, /nin only works with evasion or def.

Anyway nin is 63 now almost 64, what i learned was like alot of you seem to belive nin is soo amazing it can do anything, well i get invites where ppl expect me to tank mobs 15 lvls higher than myself and even over the lvl cap of 75 me being the lowest lvl in the pt all they can say is ur nin you don't take dmg..HAHAHAHA ninja tank with evasion just to let most know if i cast utsi ni mob hits 4 times then ichi mob hits 3 times i would have to wait about 20 sec of getting hit b4 i can cast again, nin also tank with dmg if the mob is alot higher than myself and i have 2 rngs 3 lvls ahead of me hate if obviously a problem. like Bik said mobs with 7676767767 acc double attack and stats ailments are harmfull to ninja not imposible cause with 2 nin you can share shadows and it wont be too hard, with TA and all but the main thing is pld is not usless they can take the best dmg and hold the most hate but up keeping plds with cure and refresh is also troublsome.

All in all Ninja is the hardest job in the game and probally the most expensive, not for everybody i seen aloooooot of gimped horrible nin in my day and not to many bad plds but past lvl 70 all the nins i pted and did gods/sky w/e where pretty danm good. :D

Tanked Jorm today, pld/nin, stayed alive the entire fight but it would have been really hard to do with ninja because our stunning was off at times due to lag, so having all of the tanks able to cure iv themselves to preserve hate was a plus. It really comes down to what your LS is geared to, but we've never had any problem killing the 4 gods or fafnir with them.
