If this system doesnt work for your LS then find one that does. Anything besides coming up on the spot who can lot and who cant. Just my oppion. Hope it helps
    Nice idea, really but...then what happends when a job like drk doesn't get pretty much anything in sky has a shit load of points and gets crimson legs before any plds or rdms in the ls?, then next time a rng gets it then another drk...their would have to be someway to stop this kind of situation but other than that i like you plan alot
    My LS uses DKP system for all loot and raids. Thus we don't have problems like this.

    imp seems to be perfect dodging the comments about how he left the day after recieving behemoth mantle for WoW, and then shows up the day of Kirin.

    Strange, not too Impressed by that, if you catch my drift.

    All that WS modifier crap, only ATK and STR boosts WS power a lot, like steel cyclone, the VIT only boosts your WS' base dmg when using a WS, so its pretty useless when compared to using STR and ATK. Best using hauberk or somethin with STR and ATK.
    Ever heard of /equip macros? As it is right now I macro genbu's kabuto and a few other peices of VIT gear in for steel cyclone. Best so for is 1650 on byakko, must be doing something right (no brd in my pt either, and was using sushi)

    Grats.

    Too bad you don't always have 300% TP.

    Ya I know If I could get a damn bard in the melee party, and use attack food, I bet I could do about 1900-2000 on byakko :D

    I don't. I've seen 1800 steel cyclone on byakko, without a BRD.

    Speaking as a PLD with crimson cuisses - they are not vital, just nice. There is not a mob that is kited in the game that cannot be kited without them, and for a lot of kiting fights you are gonna be a better PLD using adaman, AF1 or AF2 legs for the emnity. They can be nice if you get cornered by a Kirin and need to get out of range of a stonega IV quick, but most of the time you can help make fewer RNG and BLM deaths by sticking on the emnity. You can argue you will hold hate better by being able to get away from attacks faster and taking less damage, but it doesn't work quite like that. Either the mob is faster that you and will catch up to you regardless if they want to (Kirin, MNKs on their 2 hours in Dynamis etc), or you will be able to stay out of range because you are competing for hate with other tanks and are not running right up into hitting range before you voke it.

    Point being, you are by no means a gimp kiting PLD without them (unless you want to kite something solo I suppose).

    They are incredibly nice though, I have saved me a small fortune in silent oils training to DA, VoS and up in sky. I wear them most of the time for kiting because I am lazy. But don't begrudge RDM lotting them - I had to lot against 2 RDM for mine, and they deserved them every bit as much as I did. Its not like the best RDM gear, enhancing swords, AF2 hats, dalmaticas etc are common, this is something nice for RDM. Saying they should automatically go to PLD before any other job is encouraging PLD to underperform and be lazy like me, but PLD should get to lot imo if they deserve it on the same grounds as RDM - its not like martial abjurations are common either.

    RNG don't really have a leg to stand on arguing they should get to lot them, they do not stack with striders, and we probably get as many striders from Simurgh as we do wyrmals from Kirin, albeit we have not camped Simurgh hard for a long time.

    16mil boots, or 300k legs ;3 The last time my LS camped simurgh was about a year ago.

    DKP= point based system.
    All raids are given point values. You attend blah raid you get X amount of points. All items are given a point value. If you want to bid on a item you have to pay X amount of points. If 2 people bid the same item, the person with more points wins. We do bids like, Main job > alt job > everyone.

    DKP is oldschool EQ for Dragon Kill Points. Kinda weird it would carry over to a game that only has 5 dragons to kill

    Macro on the +emnity for voke, flash, sentinal, defender, EVERYTHING. Not that hard really, I do it. My exp tank set of macros has full af macroed in to every single ja for the +emnity. The emnity won't do anything while you are just running anyways.

    Why do people hate /equip macros? ; ;

    Don't have enough faith in all WHMs to keep me alive when I am gear changing every other second, and I find I often do macros too fast to allow for /wait 1s that I'd want to use with full emnity JA gear change macro. In an ideal world sure, but it easier to leave fast pants on At Kirin I already change between gear quite often for emnity/beastkiller on koenig shield and terra staff should I get cornered and bound and end up crying for someone to "erase for the love of god" T_T

    With drops distrobution, its unique to each LS, if you keep having qualms with the distrobution and make it clear but just get ignored, there might be something wrong with the LS. Some LS on midgardsormr use a points system, PO has always been lucky imo that we have had leaders who are great at keeping track of things and being fair - I have not once questioned how something was assigned, nor felt the need to.

    We changed out lotting system, and basically goes as such:

    Endo decides, and if you don't like it, GTFO. :D
    and chumberina added: Any quarrelling, Endo will quartermaster, then drop the drops.

    If you can't have faith in your leader's decision be they good or bed, it's time to move on. But always first and foremost interests of the few mean nothing when it comes to benefit of entire LS.

    Everyone gets what they want/need in the end. It's a matter of how patient and dedicated people are. Those who are more dedicated obviously get things ahead of those that aren't if the leader can see that.

    we hope it'll be good, maybe dwindle down members that get pissed when Endo receives all the abjurations because they wanted to fight about it. hopefully it'll ingrain the notion that accomplishment > items.

    I just realized what that thing about Minstrel in your sig is about. It's directed at me and my attempts to MPK you, ain't it?
