Easier to just camp with them and at the end Provoke/Disband and finish it.. or be the leader and quartermaster it, MPKing gilsellers isn't going to do anything, they'll level up new characters if they get banned because they level with shitty gear and sell everything they get leveling for real life money, so you're just "helping" them by MPKing them(kind of).

The ideal thing to do would be to ban all the gilbuyers like I said in another thread(maybe this one): each item is given its own ID to prevent duplicating, a Level 1 character transferring millions of gil from a starter city is a big red flag, ban that account and there goes however much gil IGE had stored on it.

Its not that its hard to get rid of IGE, its that SE views it as "You pay us and you'll keep paying us, why should we try to get rid of them?" If you got everyone English that plays on FFXI servers to cancel their accounts for a month (which won't happen because you people are crack addicts in the sense of FFXI) they would see a large margin in profit loss and do something.

In the meantime our prices skyrocket and the economy gets more and more screwed because of the gilbuyers(sellers).. not trying to start a racial war or anything, but ban IP addresses originating from China from playing FFXI? They should be making Adidas and Nike anyway

I am good friends with "Sunboy" your so called evil gil selling Linkshell, and omg if being friends with Kind hearted people is a crime then Call a gm Im guilty... I cant confirm nor deny if they sell gil. But i can say from personal experience that they are some of the nicest people you could have the pleasure of playing with. To follow people around and start drama on BG's website is kinda childish.. Im not here to flame of cry.. these people are good people who want to play the game for the fun of playing it.... they went to dynamas knowing that they couldnt lot on
anything at all... and yet they went for the fun of it..... key word "Fun"...
they passed up serket, who's window was up and they new the TOD on... at the last minute just because they would rather play the game for the sake of playing it .... then camp an HNM.... so go ahead... try and MPK them... Flame at them... when they steal your mob go ahead and ask yourself why?..

Funny you should mention that. In the last 3 months my ls has claimed serket plenty of times. How else would we get up to 70mil in ls fund? We are a new HNM/Dynamis/God ls and to come up with those funds without doing HNM is almost impossible even with new people. So in fact they haven't monopolized HNM's and even if they seem they always get it is because other ls's dont' make it a point to go every night. The top 3 ls's that claim serket and roc are Fantajii, Hokuten, and PoS. The only way to stop them from Monopolizing is for other ls's to actually go and camp them vs letting them have no competetion. On that note don't point fingers if you or your ls really wanted them then more then 2-3 people would show up. Greater numbers = better chance.

we usually go with 12-18 members easy claim, and with how many times we have gotten ring and claw at the same time 11 mil split is nice even with that many members. so we get 500-800k each while yeah if 2-3 people get the claim its 3.5-5.5 mil each but we kill it with 12 three nights in a row and split 33 mil for those 12 cause we can get claim almost every time we go.

How many of you have actually talked to Sunboy members, other then to make a complaint that they *gil sell* or stole a mob? Almost everyone that has sent me a tell obviously dont know that the reason Sunboy mpk'd and or stole HNM is because others did it to them. They only did it back to others when they thought it was the way it was....

Yes Darkvalentine.. they did try to MPK us the first time we camped serket, I talked to them and they said that it happens to them all the time.
I personally don't blame them but they havent attempted it since. Fantajii does not MPK and will not MPK any and all LS when camping HNM. Many of you don't know that sunboy members willingly and without asking for anything helped members in our ls. Not because we asked them but because they saw that we had morals when it came to game play.

What I dont understand either is why do people point the blame solely on people who *sell gil* when there would not be a market if people bought it in the first place. Im sure 10-35% of you people who flame on these forums are gil buyers or have bought XXX amount at sometime.
And how many people sell gil to pay for their game play ? I'm sure quiet a few people do but they dont get pointed out. Is it wrong? Maybe. Do I care? No. I play the game for fun.

Ok.. I'm not trying to flame in any way. I just want to say is that sunboy didnt get anything from Dynamis, they went so they could see it and experience it. Is that wrong? They recieved nothing. I assume that no one has even tryed to see this with an open mind... maybe they camp HNM because no one will invite them into thier ls because they were deemed *gil sellers*. What else do they have in game to do ? They are at end game mode. Maybe they wouldnt camp HNM if some ls would give them an opurtunity to join them so they could do something other then camp HNM 24/7 and annoy all of us. Are they gil sellers? I dont know I dont care. Is it wrong? Sure but its only 1 side of the picture.. turn it over and look at the otherside.

Yes in fact they did try and MPK us because they thought we were going to do the same thing to them. When in fact we talked to them and you were there. You out of everyone on this forum that is making a big issue out of Sunboy being at Dynamis Bastok when they didn't get anything from it except some Actual Fun playing FFXI. You know they apologized and left us alone after that. What I don't understand is why does everyone have to have a 5 year old mentality on them trying to change their ways. If any of you would stop and ask them for help they would help. They are like you and me. NOT all of them sell gil. only 2 out of the 6 actually sold gil at one point in time. Do you guys know the reason for selling gil? Of course not. Have you asked them? ding ding ding answer is no. They have stoped selling gil. If you really want to know the answers to these questions send me a /tell in game. If you don't then stop flaming them, and let them enjoy the game for once maybe you'll finally see what i'm talking about. They no longer want the title of gilseller. And if you watch them now they do not camp or are all on same time anymore. They have stoped and just want to have fun. Leave them be and all will be good. Last note... the 6 members in Sunboy are close friends. 2 of which had to help family out. They worked together to help them out. Nothing wrong with that. Now those 2 have a job and no longer need to sell gil. Is that inhumane to use this game as a way to put food on the table? Look at yourself and I almost gaurantee that you know someone that has sold an item or wanted to sell gil to get some money to pay for rent ... or to pay for bills. Just leave them be. enough said.
