OMG UNGUR + FF + BG + POS DRAMA -sidenote aspid

So because 1 person has a problem with someone else, everyone jumps on the Hate-wagon, eh?

Just thought I'd letcha know what happened from my point of view.

A friend of mine who was PT'ing the area, and knew I had been camping Ungur off and on for the past few weeks sent me a tell saying the 3 wyverns were up, and that means Ungur is up.

I was in the middle of helping a friend with a mission, but when I got done about 15-20 minutes later, I outposted to Valkrum and headed to Gustav.

When I got down there, I ran into Aville and a PT fighting a warlock. I thought they were an XP pt in trouble because Joker (Toker?) was lying there dead, and they had an unclaimed gob betaing their PLD down along with the Warlock. I ended up killing the gob while they took care of the warlock.

Anyway after the fighting, Aville (who got her Optical Hat in a run with us in PoS yesterday) asked me why I was here. I told her because I heard Ungur was up. She's told me that it was up, they had spent the time to pop him, and that it was theres. I was alone, I told her to relax I just want to check things out.. if they take him I'll just get ToD and w/e like I've been doing for the past two weeks or so.

So anyway, I go back there and sure enough Ungur is up. Not too long after a BST (invisible) whurrs passed me and grabs Ungur, and brings him all the way back to the first tunnel. I follow to find the bst dead at the mouth of the tunnel, and DragonTribe fighting Ungur in the tunnel.

The Paladin they had lasted a good while, I dont know if someone ran out of mana or what, but at about 60% life Ungur did his breath attack and ate the Paladin. No other tanks in the group... I'm like.. they're done. Just as the last of them are dying though, a squad of FriendlyFire shows up. Apparently they were there to back up DT, this was unknown to me at the time. While FF is fighting (They had a NIN, and some THFs to tank) they get it down to about 10% then the NIN bites it. I believe BG showed up a minute or so before the NIN went down, I'm not sure. An LS BLM of my own showed up then too, and I grouped with him at that time. (2 people in party)

Hate bounces around for a minute while they get it down to about 6% and then one of the rangers eats it, then a THF. At this point there's maybe 2 or 3 people left... and the mob went unclaimed. It went unclaimed for about 5 seconds or so. So I toss a voke out there. Got the claim, and I jump in Provoke, WarCry Berserk, Blind, while the BLM tosses in stun.

I don't know who it was, but I hear someone shout WTF, MPK, and then suddenly there's a Warlock and a goblin in the hall hittin people. My BLM takes dragon breath from Ungur (wasnt behind) along with me and the Doom Warlock takes her out with an AE. After seconds later, I use Jin and Ungur dies.

So, I ask "Who was the Boomerang for?" They tell me Arko the NIN (but I find out later that wasnt true... and that Dinh the THF was gonna get it - not sure why they'd lie about it tho (?-?) ). I tell them to quickly get him off the ground now (he was still dead) and he can get the boomerang.

Then I take a quick look over at my PT, and my BLMs (long since) dead... and the items already defaulted into my inventory. "Too late."

I hung around for a few minutes after that to find out what the hell was going on... at that time I hadn't a clue.. to me it looked like 3 LS's were scrambling over Ungur (4 including me). Later found out that FF was in support of DT.

In the end tho.. nobody really seemed to care that I got the boomerang, and everyone was just arguing over who spawned it.... something about FF killling 12 PH's but BG killed 1, but it was the one that popped hm...@_@.

I didnt really care, I was really more upset that the BLM who came to help me got killed, and home pointed over it. Wasn't any dire need for me to get the Boomerang, and I certainly don't care for the drama....

Although a short while afterwards, while I was in Windurst waiting on the airship. Aville contacted me and asked if she could have the drops. So I asked her about exactly what happened.. which is where I learned the majority of the information you see in this post. After she answered all my questions I agreed to give her the Wyvern Wings, Sacles, and Skins. What I really dont get... is how 2 PTs (one and a half) wipe to Ungur...

The Paladin I can understand, but they had a NIN on the second heat and he still ate them. Granted I only had to tank Ungur for about 25 seconds, but I've never seen a group that size with the right jobs zenmetsu. and I've watched a LOT of Ungur's die in the past two or 3 weeks. Even the PLD group shouldn't have lost....

Maybe I'm just under-estimating him though... w/e.

I don't think you should've voked before the party that's fighting it completely wipes to it. That would technically be the same as stealing. Probably would've avoided the drama if you let the wyvern take out the rest of their alliance. If I was there camping the boomerang, like bikwin, I would probably be getting ready to voke when those people wipe. It would be like a race for ungur that starts when the original people wipes, and you cheated by going early.

few days ago FF popped unger while i was watching and RMTony LS(kazoku) rushed in with an alliance and killed b4 FF could mobilize

Shit like this makes me wonder if you guys have nothing else better to do than to slander my name when you guys don't even know me. I'm really curious to know does it make you feel any better? Of all Linkshells known on this server, I've always viewed BG to be one of the most respectful one since a lot of people, not only among our own server, look up to you guys.

Whatever happend to playing the game for fun? Never knew it was your life. Does it make you feel better to put people down? Do you feel superior now that you have? That is so like 2nd grade drama. Grow up, treat people like the way you wanted to be treated and have fun.

And for the incident with ungur, I myself was not there but was informed by one of their members, gave them my apology. For one thing they were not aware of other's "trying to pop ungur" and if you consider 8 people as an alliance go right ahead. Whats done is done, there is no need to get butt hurt and go on BG forums and post shit like this. Now you wonder why shit like this makes people wanna quit. Go figure.
