Kirin isnt too hard for RNGs now post the food revamp. RNGs can eat sushi and hit Kirin with no problem. The only difference all those uber RNG gears will make is that you can eat Curry instead of Sushi.

the bard quit the LS a month later, rofl.

no big loss, she wasnt really good. She botted her XP parties, even when she was partied with LS, and would constantly ask to be gimped XP (as a fucking bard), asking to join RNG pt's as early as lv67.

I didnt say RNG NEEDED them for Kirin.
Also, its not that RNGs dont have the points, its that they dont want to spend 50 points (1Hour=1Point) on something that they should get over a RDM.

why the fuck do RDM's need crimson legs over a rng ?

rng's are more likely to pull hate on a kited mob then a rdm is.
    "Ya, but they get striders".
    Striders cost 12+++++ mil
    Crimson Cuisses costs 250k

I wonder what you all would be saying if they'd let a Drg have crimson cuisses. I bet everyone would be singing a different tune.

The point is that a Drk who saves all his points for something that will make him 'run faster' for absolutely no fucking reason at all, without consideration for the benefit of his own LS, is not too bright. How the hell does a drk running faster help an LS as a whole? There are other jobs that can clearly benefit from this more, at the same time benefitting an entire LS as a whole, making them more efficient, rather than it going to waste on someone's selfish dream to run faster in the game for absolutely no damn reason at all.

I also suggest that for the people who don't benefit from sky items as much as other ppl with the jobs that do... they get some kind of monetary reward by trading in their points for gil from a LS bank (assuming one exists).

once again, how will crimson cuisses benefit a rdm ??

You dont need crimson cuisses to kill any mob in this game.

iv done some skim reading and i think someone mentioned what im going to say here so..

if you have point system in you're LS it doesnt matter what job you are or what lv you are...as long as u can buy the item with you're points..the hours you spent helping the ls/collecting points should be worth it...
you cant use 2 systems at the same time saying blackmages should get a.abj hands before redmages just because they can actually do better damage blah blah...

if i can equip em and you can...we both willing to use our points...lets cast lots on it and who ever wins them takes them..

i work my ass off with my LS and then when we do kirin 5-7 people cast lot on the osode, including bards rangers samurais and all jobs...no priority...simply use points cast lot and win it..no grudges against you wither u can use it or not...
I dont know if you have the right to sell the item you earned with you're time in you're LS, but i know it would get more people to work for the LS..
no need to discuss this man's so called greed or showing that you can see through him with what he said...just a simple answer is good enough

That's the point of all uber gear... no one 'needs' it but it makes an LS that much more efficient if the right jobs are equipped with those gears.

Wow after this topic i fully get how ????ing greddy people are
People would do anything for uber items kill friendships steal, put other jobs down, tisk tisk.

Rdm does not need anything but Enf magic, cause of the jobs versitality they can wear just about everything, i think all rdm needs is af1..just replace feet and hands and thats great armor imo. Pld af pwns just replace feet and hands, i don't see why theirs so much fighting with jobs that have great armor and just want more >.>

As per skimming through this as well, I have to say this was basically bound to happen at some point in time. No distribution system is flawless, there will always be some occurance people will overlook, and later down the line, it'll come back to haunt them. This being the case.

I don't think the DRK is totally in the wrong here, they worked for what they want, why not reward them? Yes, it may piss you off, but think about it. If you don't let someone who's worked hard for the LS get something they want, doesn't that make you look equally a jerk as a LS? I think you need to outweigh some options here before ranting more about this:

    1) Is this DRK member dependable?
    2) Is this DRK punctual?
    3) Does this member play well on a whole during your Sky/HNM/Dynamis/whatever raids?
    4) Has this member in the past, or even now, go out of their way to assist the LS, or even members will simple tasks (ie. AF quest help on secondary/tertiary jobs)?

Now take all that, and look what you're wagering it against:

Crimson Cuisses Abj (I don't know the damn name >.>), an item that is dropped from a force-popped NM (I am correct on this right? I think it's a god I just don't know which one, can ya tell I don't do Sky? <.<), and NM that you do not have to compete over, something that can be planned, scheduled, and done on a repeated basis. This is also a game.

You're basically wagering someone's hard work vs. a pixelated object, I won't place the blame, I think that's been said and no sense in beating a dead horse right? I personally just think you should reevaluate the situation before making any prejudicial judgements.

People killed Kirin and other stuff w/o Abjus before they got em so by your logic, you can do stuff w/o them.

If all a job is getting out of god runs is gil, why is that job even doing it in the first place? Might as well just camp easy NM's all day long. The amount of time he took to get that many points doing gods, he could have probably claimed a ton of LL.

All this talk is making me hungry

Hello, I am the DRK that wants the Crimson Cuisses. Though they may not be of any valuable use to me, doesnt reduce that fact that i want them and have the ability to obtain them. I'm not mean by anymeans, and I work my butt off in Sky to help the LS, even when points arent distributed on non-scheduled days, i still help out. I made it clear before the point system started that i would be lotting on Crimson Armor only, and allowing all the other armor that might make me a better DRK to go the the WARs that can use them. Adaman and Hecatomb are nice to have but i really want crimsons. I have accumulated a large amount of points because i have not bid on anything, even on free lot items of armor i can wear, i pass to allow others to get it. The PLD asks me , "Why cant you do that to the PLD, and pass?" Because at the end of the day i still want those Cuisses. Converse in the LS if you have problems or objections instead of sending me secret tells and asking it "stay between us." I've passed on lowmoney items that are free lot too like Dragon Meat. I do not counter0bid on an item just to see the other bidder use more points, which is sinister. I know my point ceiling and how much i will spend. You can counter-nid, but you wont win, i will spend all my points and go back to 0 if i need to. All i want to do is feel appreciated ; ; and i want those cuisses. I would look pretty in them =( As for what MasterOrion said, about bidding on something i want for "spite," there's nothing else up there i want. And I place loyalty to the LS. Im tired of being nice when people are mean to me. Yet i still do cuz i feel guilty somehow. Why should i feel guilty. ***sorry for the long post, i heard about this thread today and checked it out*** I am Kikipoopies, DRK reconnisance and rescue. Stun Captain.

First: a RDM (in fact every job that can use Crimson Cuissess) would make use outta those legs. RDM for solo-ing really.. but that's why I don't plan to lot on W.Abj: Legs for awhile even though I could >.>

Second: The rules are set up exactly as Masterorion said... unfortunately the majority of the people on Quetzalcoatl are too damn selfish to help other people out for nothing. So.. Maseki (leader of the LS) set up the rules so that people wouldn't be so damn greedy as to join, use us for items/gil, and then leave and never contribute. Frankly, our server needs this kinda thing. The LS that have priority based rules are too corrupt and have too much favoritism toward certain members to really be fair and so I doubt anyone trusts that. The points is, sadly, the fairest way to get things outta the LS with making sure people put work into the LS (even then some don't really put much work into the LS..).

Finally: Kiiro did say that she'll most likely pass up Crimson Cuirress to the PLDs that tank Kirin well and aren't assholes (or haven't been to her or her friend's basically). She isn't stupid about who will make more use outta them.. just realize that. Also realize it is her right to lot on them first if she wants to.
