Just on my knowledge of resist rates from BLM, I'd go with HQ Staff. But I'd like to hear your take on it.

Also, can you in any way compare a quantity of CHR to Instrument Skill? Another 75BRD was actually telling me that Instrument Skill is useless when compared to obscenely large quantities of CHR. Again, from BLM, this just... doesn't sound right. Can you clarify it a bit possibly?

What I said was directed at Gigo and noone else, but this being a public forum everyone's entitled to their opinion. If only her response was directed to my post about Zenith Pumps, I wouldn't have said a word. If you read other post where I explained my issues with Gigo, I apologized for anything harsh I said and tried to make piece. No, her response was a direct provoke at me. I could have kept quiet, but I chose not to. That is my choice.

Unlike me, she obviously can't differentiate between real life and online world. Her previous posts show this. Posting here doesn't give me a thrill and in no way affects me in real life.

if i had a parser i could show u today at jourgy bard with HQ elemental staff and moderate chr (around +40) could not land elegy on jourgy (around 1/10) i use chr and some skill+ gear and normally do double etude since i have time (around +80 chr, +13 singing, +10 wind, excluding merits) and land elegy around 70%, i used chanters staff

long ago i tested both terra and earth staff, seem to have no effect on bard songs, well thats just me XD

Personally I prefer :
Head - Opo-opo crown
Body - Minstrel's coat
Hand - Sha'ir (if you can get HQ it's the best but I settle for NQ since brd isn't my only job and not a job I play all the time)
Leg - Mahatma at the moment, I like the -enmity and CHR on it but if you can manage HQ sha'ir, byyako's or BRD AF2 legging I think those are great
Feet - Sha'ir/HQ
Rings - Serket, Angel's or angel's x2
Earrings - Melody+1 x2
Neck - bird whistle
Waist - Gletman's
Instruments - according to needs
