Are ls's that have wiped previously allowed to lot?
Are ls's that have wiped previously allowed to lot?
if they have wiped and fully recovered to fight again immediately after winning random, yes.
if they have wiped and have to hold for people to get unweakened or more people to show up, people to return from home point, no.
it's an extension of the point that only LS who is capable of fighting right away should be able to random.
Isnt it unfair if a random ls shows up after hnm has already popped and wins random over 3-4 other ls's that have been camping for 3hrs?
no, time spent camping doesn't give you any extra rights to any mobs in this game.
Maybe, to fix this all together, what should happen....
When the HNM pops, it is then claimed. The other LSs should coodinate and choose one person to random for their LS. Once the randomers are chosen from each LS, the groups random at that time.
doing this solves several issues:
1) only LSs at the time of POP get to random.
2) who gets the claim in case of wipe is chosen a long time in advance.
3) groups who didnt win the random can leave one for the DT and go do whatever, thus reducing lag in the zone.
4) the random is fair, b/c its not rushed and/or prematurly determined.
that's not how it works. if you want to change the rules than it's up to you to gather the LS leaders of all HNM LS on Bahamut to discuss and agree to the change (including the JP). if you don't do this, you can't change the way it works now just because you said so on the forums.Originally Posted by Empire
problems with your suggestions
- there's no need to random if the claiming group isn't going to lose.
- many LS don't start coming until it looks like the claiming group shows signs of trouble, these groups will not respect the initial random.
- people should run around in Aery to reduce lag regardless
- whether or not a group "goes home" varies by group.
- you assume that the group who wins the first random will definitely not lose.

sometimes things go wrong....thats just the way the game is- there's no need to random if the claiming group isn't going to lose.
they have no business showing up then- many LS don't start coming until it looks like the claiming group shows signs of trouble, these groups will not respect the initial random.
its the zone, not a persons position in the zone, its caused from the server load- people should run around in Aery to reduce lag regardless
this is true, but most would i think- whether or not a group "goes home" varies by group.
we should assume if you are there, you have done the research and you have the people to kill.- you assume that the group who wins the first random will definitely not lose.
Im not trying to modify rules...and it hasnt been 3 years lol.Originally Posted by Zigma

get Worldx, Ping, Eny, Phalanxx, Edwardtheblack/Berticus, Mrwatermonkey, Karen, Ingram, Mogi, Ecurb, Tonyanjaii, Parklife, etc, etc together and you can tell them what the business of their respective LS should be.Originally Posted by Empire
You dont notice it as much there because there is nothing more to load, but look at your rec'v its still high due to the amount of people in the zone.no, it isn't. stand in front of the Lower Jeuno AH and than go to Aldo's room and tell me everything is the same. it's how many character models the game has to load on the screen which is directly related to the position of people in the zone.
Those last 2 Fafnir's that we faught were more laggy then any dynamis I've ever done. I know alot of the LS's there have never done Fafnir before, but it's really important to zone out and run around again if you did not win claim. That way if they wipe it wont agro anyone (so you can random) and you just make it alot easier for the people fighting.
I hope it'll work better in the future.
I guess what we did was wrong and it wont happen again.
Bahamut should have a United Nations type council to punish those that infringe on HNM rules.
