btw, we got the living rod drop a few weeks ago (i think it's the 2nd or 3rd ever on fairy @_@ as rare as quadav god club mistlewhatever?)

anyway it does in fact enhance aspir and drain effect significantly more than pluto's staff, the BLM who got it said something like 50% increase in potency...

Well, Pluto's only reduces resistance rate. If the Living Rod is a direct increase, it'd act more like a Light staff/Healing staff with the +10% Cure bonus, etc.

Kind of an odd comparison, but I think you get the idea @.@

im nearly certain that in addition to decreasing resistance, the elemental staves have a flat increase in damage/effect of 10% (15% for HQ)

Nah, they might, but I think that damage "increase" is coming strictly from a lower resistance rate. Then again, what the hell do I know? Elemental Staves help my gimp ass INT, so I don't care.
