how bout S-E takes a hint and just impliments some of the shit from the windower? like the TP thing - thats fucking awsome. if I knew everyone had it, i wouldn't have to go /p "tp:<tp> GO FAGGOT I SEE UR TP U HAVE OVER 100 GO GO GO OGGOGOGOGO!!!"
and ive been waiting for the lil boxes on ur screen with countdowns on job ability recast - - (implemented next thing saposedly) - - why didn't square do this instead of /recast ?
It crashes when I can actually move. TParty screws up. so i'll just stick to my JP windower
edit: annnnnnnnd wtf, it tells me Please update your game at the accept/decline screen, i already downloaded the update
update replaces ur .dll files, so if u swapped .dll's to fix windower - probably gonna crap on you.
glglglgll-
bed time
i didnt replace them though, and it gives me this error even in full screen
edit: fixed
Be sure you kill all pol.exe processes in the task manager before you fire up the client to patch. Otherwise, the files that changed (ffxi.dll/ffximain.dll) will still be in use, the update will fail, and it will tell you to reinstall FFXI. The new windower doesn't always exit cleanly, so this will probably end up happening to a lot of people.
If it's too late and you already screwed it up, there's a fix here.
This morning was a 3 hour ordeal of trial and error, but... I didn't have to re-install after all. Problem solved.
The only problem ive had so far with the windower is my lightning on character models is fucked up.
Best series ever."The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed..."
I agree.... wholeheartedly.Originally Posted by Amarok

Open the Windower's settings. You'll see the windower's resolution in there. Change it to what you used to have. Fixed.
if you dont know what he is talking about, go into your windower folder
The file is called "windower.ini". Double click on that and change it there.
Fixed, thank you.
