It seems the bombs where tampered with some how... All the bombs found so far contained nails and other nasty guts, but the deternator only went off....

Still seems fishy, who would tamper bombs to cause minimal damage. Especially a fucking nail bomb, there should've been injuries. Lucky for us they tampered it...

I saw something about a story on MSNBC about the response of English people to the attacks, they said that they were purposefully throwing parties in the streets to show that they weren't afraid and said "We don't care if they blow us up, we'll be having this smashing party anyways, we don't mind." and that people were crowding to get onto the buses and trains

Exactly. Assuming it's terrorists, what they want to do is make them afraid and change policy. They want to start shit and bring the war to the terrorists, either because they want a bloodbath or damage Britain's credibility. If they can carry on with their daily routine without worrying about the terrorists, then the terrorist's aims have failed.

In some respects, there is no great fear; dying to terrorists is such a miniscule chance compared to automobile accidents.
