Other than that, I have no idea. My computer used to be shit but then I whiped HD. Now everything gewd as new.

Heh, anyone ever had your PC not let you access your Desktop Properties before? I Right Click->Properties, but only the Settings tab is appearing...I've run AdAware etc and it's deleted some files but nothing to the major. I've run AVG Antivirus it's come up w/nothing too. It allows me to right click -> set as background, however I can't physically change my background by properties, or my picture etc. It only shows the settings tab. Any clue if this is a virus or if my PC is messed? >.<

I was just wondering if anyone could help me, when I reboot my PC it takes a long time to load, and even after everything is open, winlogon.exe takes up 40%-90% PC usage and lags FFXI to the point where its unplayable, and when I try to end any tasks that aren't under my PC username, it says Unable to complete action, Access denied. (but I'm the administrator of my PC since I'm the only one that uses it.)

I've scanned my PC with TrendMicro, Search&Destroy, and Ad-Aware and cleaned out numorous ads/files, and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix the lag short of a reformat?

I also have a program called "Slave.exe"←doesn't sound very good that always runs in the background, but before now I could CTRL+ALT+DLT and end the process, but now it says Unable to complete action, access denied =\

Any advice would be greatly appreciated T.T

Also, norton is a very popular anti-virus program, if not THE most popular one.
Virus programers aren't stupid, they know that.
