Sure, If I don't get smacked by Worldx, I'm sure I can pull a Gate of Tartarus off. I don't know why but whenever I do Ballista I always seem to play with Hokuten and the rest japanese LSs. And suddenly Worldx hits me 3 times in a row with his ridill and club for 300 dmg 300 dmg 450 dmg crit I'm dead. >> Revive >> Rinse and Repeat, I even invisible and he still chases me =(.

Orfeo, it's because some of us don't like shooting arrows, and BLM is prolly cheaper than RNG and SMN is cheaper than BLM (maybe).... but point being I don't wanna lvl RNG, but I have SMN and BLM 75 and RDM 75, oh well, for my own personal enjoyment I will get Claustrum and Excalibur and Mandau. Hell If I can, why not?

Poor thing, I can feel your pain. (almost) I just borrow a Kracken Club, try to spam Hexa Strike, and only end up giving my opponent TP to beat the living sh*t out of me.

Why did you level DRG to 60 when you could've leveled another DD job like WAR or RNG?

Unfortunately the question you proposed is too easy to be turned around simply due to the sheer fact you leveled DRG. Am I singling them out? No, but the entire basis of Nynja's point was that it was a waste of time and money, and unfortunately SE is such biased idiots in how DRG is nerfed, it can apply to the same basic principle.

I borrowed a Kraken Club once, holy fucking shit that was fun. Leveled my club skill (as RDM mind you, and our club skill rating BLOWS) from 177 to 187 in like 5-10minutes, freakin insane shit. <3 that club

Marcatil, my club is 126 from the days i used to melee as rdm (when i was noobie ._.) and Yes I meleed with wand XD. <.<; it was only a till lvl 41 tho, then i got refresh and meleeing was well... useless obviously

And yes, I <3 Kracken Club long time. Once, while exping/camping Ullikummi, I managed to borrow the Kracken Club and melee against the statues. Considering we had another white mage in a 7 person exp party (don't ask) I went all out. Managed to get Club to the point where I could start the Black Halo quest. ^^ And I think I was at least 20 lvls under it.

I leveled dragoon to 60 because at the time penta-spamming was the thing to do. The day after I got 49 was the update that killed penta, and I went to 60 in denial that the multi-hit ws patch was that bad.

I guess you're right though, if you ONLY like smn and blm you might aswell upgrade staff.

i dunno about wepaons and golems, piercing has dmg reduction in that?

Weapons have no weapon reduction, just low as hell DEF, Golems have high DEF and ATK, Dolls have high-ish ATK, low DEF and a potentially fatal move.

Elvaan F doesn't look weird when casting. Male elvaan does I know. But female elvaan doesn't. Besides, How many Elvaan BLM's do you know that can land 1800 Thundaga 3 MBs on any day of the element week? (And I don't have zenith mitts or merits....yet.)And I do very well at gods and kirin as well as dynamis. >:O I am Elvaan BLM Extraordinaire...at least NA ...never PTed with a japanese Elv BLM before. Or Elvaan SMNs with 1250 MP? _(._.)_ it's in the skills, not in the race... and maybe in the equipment.
