The difference is drg sucks regardless of who's playing, whereas THF sucks dependant on whos playing it.

And no, DRG doesn't suck regardless of who is playing it. I have partied with DRG's who couldn't break 500 wheeling thrust, and I have partied with DRG's who are getting 900+ wheeling thrust.

Same goes for THF. I once partied with a damn good THF, he was doing lots of dmg and actually understood how to play the job right. But, because all the cool kids are doing it, I'm gonna let those couple bad ones I party with completely ruin my view of the job.

Seriously, look back and read what you wrote. I dont even play DRG and I know that the player makes the job and not the gear. Yeah no shit the gear makes up for a lot of its power, but give me a freaking break. I had a kickass DRG while I was leveling PLD and personally I would take him over any DD any day of the week.

Hell it came to the point where I never had a THF in my parties, no offense but your just making your job look stupid and yourself extremely Retarded.

orfeo is basing his entire argument on the value of drg and thf on their use in an exp party. i think you need to fight harder things than aura statues where hate control can be the difference between an easy and difficult fight.


in a lot of end game situations the usefulness of thf far outweighs that of most other melees (excluding sam).
