Maybe I would be inclined to believe this if it came from a respectable new source such as the BBC or CNN....even foxnews is more respectable than this.
Now if George W. was a /true/ Republican (which he is Not)....then maybe the rest of the world would leave us alone -_-.
Also about London: 9/11 happens, 3000+ people die. Madrid happens: 300+ people die. London happens: The death toll at this points looks like it will not break 100. So activities against terror ARE doing something, and AQ is unlikely to have the manpower to pull something like "Hiroshima against the United States" off. 9/11 they didn't even have conventional weapons to use... they had to use our own airplanes. A terrorist network being cut off from recourses can only do so much.

take a bowl of regular shredded wheat, and fill the bowl with milk. THen but the bowl in a microwave until it gets hot, anywhere between 1-2 minutes depending on your microwave.

Then when it's done add some raisins to it, mix it up, then cut up a banana in to slices and top it. it's soooo good.

The sad thing is that none of those news outlets are without prejudice nor without censorship. So if you solely rely on the information afforded to you by national news syndicates (which recieve most funding for operating expense's from the national government) then you are going to have some issue's when shit hits the fan.

As far as the original article it seems feasible, but unlikely. From what I have been told in anti-terrorism training is that their objective is to create fear nothing more. They dont have a total body count they are trying to achieve. Many members of Osama's band of brothers realize that complete destruction of a certain religion or race is not possible with the way the world is today, but this does not change their religious beliefs ie: the driving force behind their thinking and "war on infidel's" (that is spelled wrong I think) As far as what to do...... meh what can you do? Living your life and not letting them strike fear into this country is about all you can do, and it will accomplish a lot more then us dropping 1000's of bombs. I myself worry more about my kids growing up in a country suppresed by fear of what if's, then a suitcase of plutonium, hidden in this country for over 40+ years.

Another thing is that politics and real world events are good to discuss sometimes, especially here where you have a collection of diffrent thoughts and idea's from across the world, not censored, compiled into one place where discussions wont be nuked for disagrement with the majority. Not to mention who better to discuss then us, america's youth.

Secondly. I try to steer from politcal debates as much as possible, because imo politics is nothing but a bunch of bullshit. Give senators few shovels and let them pick up garbage of the sides of highways. Too many people do nothing but leech tax payers money.

We're living in a country that pushes Hollywood propaganda about mass murders and plane crashes. I think America is doing fine job in instilling fear in it's people, much better than any terrorist organization can.
