Rng do not have the ability to sub thf and SATA Slug Shot. Pre-patch that was the only reason why some melee would earn their spot in the main alliance. Now that Rng cannot even deal 75% of their pre-patch dmg, there is no use in taking Rng to any high end fights now. Hell even drg will be more useful in a fight than Rng. Looks like Mnk, Sam, Blm, Smn are the pinnacle DDs now. Be careful guys, you might be next.

Meh, the nerf was a bit too much in my opinion, but it is showing rather fast those who levelled ranger because they viewed ranger as a fun job and those who levelled ranger to have a quick ticket to 75 and a Kirin's Osode.

Then you must mean DD. Because Pld, War, and Nin all melee. In that case, no. Pre-patch no job could put down the dmg that Rng did on most Monsters. Post-patch no job could put down the dmg that Rng used to deal. So, things like Kirin will only take longer for LSes to take down. Unless they already planned for this and have an army of Blm and Smn.
