Not sure what this is but last night in CZB when a group of friends and myself went to go do m5-2 again for our secondary nations, we came across some ??? quite early on that I don't recall seeing before. Some say it's for a quest but I haven't the damndest clue :D It was directly inbetween the NE and SE drop holes that people typically go for Coffer key mobs. Demon NM maybe anyone? <.<

That, and found a blank spot on a wall just outside the area leading to the Throne Room. Didn't bother to check it considering we were kinda rushing XD

Well it popped four NM's and then I linked a further five. Did I get owned? Well, I was glad he casts Escape, I'll leave it at that

Apparently he pops 2 elementals to fight with him. They repop instantly if you try to kill them. They share the same hate as Shen. So if a mage gets hate, he or she will be getting hit by 3 mobs at once and die very quickly. Reraise is required for all mages, reraise hairpins are nice.

Of course he has massive regen. Lots of BLM are a good idea on this guy, as melee don't do huge amounts of dmg on him. He regens mostly inside his shell. Nuking him while he's in his shell seems to offer up huge resistance. Nuking him when he's not regening seems to be the best course of action.

I suggest having everyone gain 100-300% TP before popping him so you can start off with some nice skillchains, magic bursts, etc. The 2 water elemental pets he spawns can't be slept/bound/stunned/silenced. Flood cast and waterga3 cast is near instant. Use barwatera and water resist songs.

Is it true about the hate reset after every hit? Also, did you guys chainspell stun? Thanks for the info.

The hate reset mob is the Goblin NM in Movopolis. We did not use Chainspell stun.

LOL, I'm not sure what's what anymore. I went after the leather item for a bit, but now I have the Shrimp Lantern finally after all the confusion has settled. Ok, that's awesome that it can be tanked straight up. I'm glad ParadiseOblivion is such a great group... I'm not nearly as worried about losing this fight now. :D

The mobluminum ingot is the only annoying part. The mob that drops the moblinum ingot is the "leader" of a party of moblins. There are 2 spawns right next to each other. After killing it 20 or so times I finally got the drop. I easily solo'd the group as 75whm/thf. It seems like all the whms on my server know about it, so it's annoying getting the pull. It's quite a sight seeing 5 or 6 whms solo camping a mob. Also, finding a high level goldsmither could be annoying.

lol, could you post the recipie please? As I stated I can't access somepage.com due to work filtered websites. And I'm currently trying to get materials for mine. Im hoping this NM can be taken with around 12 people because I have some motivated to fight it, yay can't wait.

Sorry! I guess I didn't read your post very thoroughly. That's the recipe!

I had a 90s Alchemist do the putty and got the HQ animation, but only 1 putty. I had a 100 goldsmither do the sheet, then the lantern.

shoot, my friend told me where to get zincite and I completely forget...I'm going to have to call him up, lol ty very much for the information, I have the Tin ingot/Beeswax/Flaxseed things just needing the two farmable items, thanks much.^^)b
