This thing's regen is INSANE to say the least. we had a go at it and didnt even drop it below 90% lol. Everytime we went to SC it just draw-in or AOE. Like it knew what we were up to

Bleh sorry to bump this thread back again but searching through the forums this is the only thread I could find with spawn conditions theories on it and I just needed a bit more up to date info if possible please.

Anyway my ls has been mass camping this this week and we killed it 6 days in a row (4 helm drops) and we arrived again last night to go at it again. However the window opened, nothing, earth weather happened during the 21-24 and nothing, we stuck around after the window and earth weather happened multiple times over the next 6hrs and nothing >< Then we went 8hrs no weather >.> I've now been here 21hrs along with a couple of others and still no pop -.- Has anyone else had this happen to them and it basically skips a window? If so, does anyone know when its window will reopen the next day? ie does it reopen same ToD next day or is it 3hrs before the previous ToD or basically has the window never closed and we are here til it pops? >.> There are a ton of pissed off and tired people atm in my ls who have wasted their entire weekend camping this for it not to pop -.-

2 year necro aside,
I was under the impression that it only has a chance to pop with single earth weather, but it's forced to pop with double earth? I'm not sure what happens when it misses a pop though >_>

Hmm thanks. Not seen any double earth yet i don't think but virtually all our pops this week came from single earth weather. Guess I'll keep an eye out for double earth and see if anything happens however won't be long now til back at yesterday's tod >.>

Never seen or heard of this happening. Seen it pop in single weather during its window every time I or someone I know has looked, albeit that's not a very substantial sample size.

Rocl's correct, the only time it's guaranteed to pop is in double weather any time past 21 hours after it last died or despawned. Single earth weather also provides a chance but it's not a guarantee.

I haven't bothered camping KV for a long time, but iirc there were 3 types of earth weather (dusty weather, dust storms, sand storms) Dusty weather / Dust Storms are both single weather but it can only spawn in dust storms and sand storms (can't spawn in just dusty weather). As i said i haven't camped it for a while so this may be completely wrong

Double earth = not a guarantee. We had a guy stationed out there for months about a year ago, and it went up to like 40 hours before it popped once.

The other day Taera was out camping KV and ran a character to check the weather NPC. The NPC said 'sunny' (nothing about dust or sand storms) for the next 3 days, so he got all pissed since the window was open lol. About 3min later, single earth weather popped and so did KV. Weather only lasted for like 5min though and it depopped.

mmm on the note of necrobumps, we should allow bumps that are acually worthwhile be ok, if he didn't bump it he would have just made a new thread so clutter was gonna happen regardless. Necrobump is only bad if they ask a question that is clear cut answered somewhere imo.
