You get one piece of equipment each time you do the quest in a new area. Doing the quest twice or more in a single area will result in chocobo tickets. Your partner doesn't matter. You can only trade in the doll to get your prize once per game day (but you can do the quest as many times as you want, so in case one of you fucks up it's OK)
