From the SS it looks like they're in one of those rooms with 2 Aerns (the room shape has 4 doors, 2 on a lower level, 2 on an upper level, with an H shaped ramp system, hope that describes the room type).

I'd have to look at a map, but I'm pretty sure there's an area with 2-4 of these rooms and no other aggroing mobs inbetween them.

Or maybe they just repop fast enough that you only need a handful of mobs to do an infinite chain.

I don't see how a manaburn with only 2 BLMs can take down a grah in The Guarden of Ru'hmet and still keep up with a chain passed 5.

I think they found a SMN type Aern and just killed its elemental over and over, and then finally the Aern at the end.

The exp would still be good since they die super fast (one IV takes off more then 3/4 of it's HP), plus the exp in a group of 4 would increase it to the range of a skel in KRT I'd say. Going to try this out this week.

BST and SMN pets were used to keep it alive when it was needed due to MP or aern scarcity, but the ability to pull more mobs without actually porting (you can cast through those ports to the other sides on the 2nd floor) practically makes almost an infinite chain possible. '-' Spartoi mobs and Hatis sometimes give right around 100xp, while even the elementals, gave 144xp, I think it was worth it.

Wait... aren't the Aerns only VT/IT? Their elementals/pets are really that high level? Normally you'd get like 36 exp off of something like that (thinking about Demons in Uleguerand, their elementals aren't that great)

I seem to remember the Demon summons being like T or VT in Uleguerand, I may very well be wrong though.

Yeh Faranim.. they're pretty high. More XP than Spartoi Warriors and Hatis, basically the equivalent of Decorative Weapons, Molechs, Aura Statues near Celestial Nexus, and those higher Ahriman types, Smolenkos, or something.

We went through the "trouble" for XP, the aerns you kill when MP is good are worth more than any other mob 4 people can handle in the game. I think only Aura Gear was more xp/hr.
