I would just like to say, you don't need a bot to claim KA. My very first time I ever decided to camp KA, I was there all of 10-20 mins. Knight crabs popped, all died, KA popped in my face, mine. 20 mins later after duoing w/ another NIN, we got belt drop =D 1/1 Can't beat that XD

Everyone @ KA either wins by pure luck, or by Superbotting, like Ralph of asura does. I would use a bot if I had to camp KA, but the difference between me & a certain person on asura who tagged KA, fafnirx5 nidhoggx1 all in a row before the maintenance that ruined the last mrargus.exe from working, is i'll actually say i'm using it & not feel bad.
JP are using it, and WILL outclaim you 99% of the time. They like to monopolize that item, I dont feel bad breaking a monopoly.

But i'll actually admit to useing one if I had one D: Unlike the fafhogg situation on asura where there's actually chance to get it once in a while, KA on asura gets voked invisible. Many LS's camp it, many tag it, and they all have beat our chainspelling RDM with turbo controller 100% of the time.

Square Enix allow non-afk botting, I forgot which server it was on, but my friend told me how a JP who monopolized KA for over a year, got outbotted, and called a GM on the NA, but the GM didnt do anything.

If you win your speed belt by botting KA, I really couldnt care less, it wont make me think less of you, why? You got even .

well on Leviathan, JP Rdm named Ronnie Bots, King Arthro pops claimed even before Provoke goes off, theres a NA taru on our server who has a memory bot, and still cant beat Ronnie. Yet can claim all the Kings before they spawn

Ok, I had to update you all on this since the last update which took place yesterday on Aug 1.

Me (nin) and two friends (rdm and smn) all 75 went over to claim KA right after the update. During the down time we noticed that the claiming of spawned monsters you can not cast, or you JA like voke on a monster until after about a 3-4sec time peroid once it spawned.

So we logged in after the update and bam there was tons of japanese players already there. We waited and waited and the rdm friend decided to spam dia to see how this update really affected claiming. The Knight Crabs spawned and he couldn't dia them for about 3-4 seconds. It was giving him a message saying he could not perform that abiltiy at that time. This changed the whole ball game at KA. We new about this but I don't think that japanese did. After the last Knight crab was killed then we got into position. KA spawned....he was white...I was able to target him right away but couldn't voke. The next thing I see is my rdm friend running up to KA with a Hornet Needle out and he wacks KA for the claim infront of about 20 Japanese people!

They were all botting obviously trying to claim but I really don't think they paid much attention to what was being updated!! It was classic!

Now the sad part... We claimed KA...he was such and easy NM until we got him to 2% hp. After that he went NUTS...I mean nuts...before this...he couldn't hit me at all...and when he did hit me and shadows were down it was for 60-70 hp. However at 2%hp...his ACC was insane...he never missed me...then his damage was insane too...he went from 60-70...to 300-400+ crit hits. He had metalic body up and rdm got interupted when dispelling, our SMN did pred Claws and did 0 dmg...and then the rdm got Ko'd. I got it next and then the smn. After that a fresh 100% hp japanese party claimed him and KA kept his death toll climbing. He killed the entire party of japanese in a matter of seconds. The NIN in their party 2hrd but only did 99dmg. A 3rd party then claimed with a pld...and one member went down fast..but then the pld 2hrd and they finished him from 2%.

Lets just say IT was insane how much tuffer he got as the fight went on and closer to death. As a relief, there was no drop of the belt or else i would have cried. Also...the gil sellers on my server usually own Serket..but they whiped to him after the update as well.

Anyone else run into unexpected stuff like this after the update? Or what do you think?
