Updated claiming system theory

this new claiming system should be interesting to say the least, I have yet to see it in action however, stupid work. I remember killing 3 kings in one day, that was fun but it's not happened since, although the other day we did kill nidhogg and aspi. KB popped but we werent there >< But things were just starting to become peacefull on our server when it came to Fafnir and now Aery will be crowded as hell >.> oh well time to run in 600x800

If SE wants to make this work...this is how it should be done:


-mob spawns unclaimable
-server generates a random number for when it will become claimable
-after random seconds pass, mob becomes claimable. This information will NOT be sent to the client so people cant hack packets and find out where the 'release' code is.

I don't claim to be an expert, but I believe the server HAS to send that packet to the client in order for the client to know wtf is going on. In other words, bots to bypass this new claiming system can and will happen.

32x32 is the way to go

Pick a random number between 0-5 up to 2 decimals, determined by god knows what. make that the number in seconds in which the mob is non claimable.



This does not need to be sent to the client in any way, shape or form.
Player vokes Fafnir.
Server determines that Fafnir isnt ready yet, and says "fuck you".
That's the only thing the server needs to send.
