out of all the kings, King behemoth would be the easiest imo to take out while in ssj mode, i was with hp when we got it at 20% and slowly took him down to 1% and were winning, but ya, he hit me for 2 850 hits and then a meteor for 777 im certain they must of been shield blocked or somethin cuz calzone has more vit/def then me but took 200 more dmg.
We were wondering if maybe the JP's don't get the update notes? A very good and respectable JP LS on Siren claimed him, took him to like 10% in 25mins. They held him between 10-5% for 30 minutes waiting for their TH4 to arrive (must not have been home.) KB goes into chaos mode, they totally wipe. They stood up to him for a good 20 more minutes, but did no damage at all. He did 300, then 800, then 1200 before they gave up and all died. He also takes almost no damage.
An NA LS claims at 7% since they were next in /random. Don't let it regen (like the JP LS's would), but they waited long enough to claim for him to reset to normal. Get a free KB kill in about 8 minutes and crimson mask. <3 asshats

LS leader>> I know we already have been camping for a few hours and that these guys have had claim for 90 mins but when are going to let KB regen to full and spend another 45-60 mins killing it.
LS members>> F that I have shit to do.
I always thot when an HNM goes unclaimed u have to let it regen for better drops?
I've heard, but it's never been confirmed that claiming him at 1% or anything under 100% will lessen the drops. It's sort of like the whole Thief with TH thing.. THFs swear that their last hit increases drop rates, but.. it's never been confirmed. Actually it's been denied by SE.Originally Posted by I_am_new

Well, heres my LS's last few HNM kills.
All of these were with a TH3 THF in from start to finish
Fafnir: Hrotti, E.Hn
Fafnir: Ridill, Hrotti, Aegish, A.Hn, A.Ft
Nidhogg: M.Body
And then today, we subbed out the THF for more dmg, then threw him in at the end
Aspidochelone: D.Ft, Heavy Cuirass, 3 ores.
We were being MPKed by JP's at the time too.....
Leave your THF's in from start to finish![]()
HNMs regen HP very fast actually. You are probably better off letting it regen and killing KB quickly in under 30min in normal mode before he goes crazy than trying to take it at 20% already in SSJ mode. However the thought of an unclaimed KB walking around just sitting there is difficult to resist for some. For Linkshells with more than 18 people there, you almost have to take it anytime it's yellow since you should be able to defeat it in SSJ mode anyways if you have the resources to do so and you can't risk another LS claiming it when it regens full HP.
Here's my philosophy on THF TH and last hits.
It hasn't been proven that it works. It hasn't been proven that it doesn't work either.
In doubt, just do it. What have you got to lose.
Having the mob go back to 100% because of the thf's inability to kill it ?? lolOriginally Posted by Drinhkinn
Actually, I thought it was very amazing that they managed to hold on and take off 30% of it's life while in super mode (1% was coming off like every 2 minutes and sometimes they didn't damage it for a while).
At least KB doesn't have super-duper regen.
It doesn't hurt for small things, but for Tiamat, Vrtra, and Jormungand you shouldn't think about it =P
mayyybe SAM/THF or NIN/THF with Mijin Gakure >.>
The game will be more challenging now. :D

The damage output I've seen from decently-equiped HNM thieves is about 300 SA Sharkbite on Tiamat. Even at what windower calls 1% you need about 1000 damage to kill it.
I've disproven the THF last hit thing.
i don't think you can really prove or disprove such a thing unless SE actually says so. Until then, better to play it safe. I've heard thf does not increase rare/ex coffer key drops, yet drop rate has improved those drops every single time I had a thf.
