I think SE should make it that if there are more than 10 of any single job, that job AF will never drop.

And the point of that would be...?

  6. #6

So that no BLMs would get any AF2?

Yes. No AF for people who over rely on blm to beat dynamis.

That's like saying Nidhogg shouldn't drop abjurations if you bring more than 18 people to it.

Its like saying SE shouldn't reward people for cheesing their way through dynamis. Either that or have them nerf blm in dynamis. Take your pick.

SE should promote people bringing a variety to dynamis. Not 'if you are these classes, don't bother coming'

Have you seen BLMs in Xarcabard? Permanant 1/2 damage on demons, and the NMs resist like motherfuckers (with max 1/2 damage like on normal demons).

Well then it sounds like people gimp themselves if they bring lots of blms to xarcabard. That is unless they bring twice the blm to counter the 1/2 dmg.

That's why you have melees for the eyes (they dont like magic much either) and for the demons. But that doesnt make blm gimp, they can still sleep and nuke (sorta).

And I'm not talking about making individual blm gimp. I'm talking about making mass blm gimp.

If a mob is getting slammed by a large amount of spells, how about a little magic resistance before they die.

I don't think it is SE's intention for all mage parties to be in dynamis. And one way to nerf something is to show SE up and usually a job for all its worth to destroy dynamis.

Need to dig up the post about how a 64 BLM group tried to kill Dynamis Lord and failed miserably.

They really should've brought at least 1 chainspell stunner if they were serious enough to find 64 Blms with Xarcabard access to pull this off
